Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

I think it is solid fuel.

The missile was launched from suparco range and impacted within suparco range
could it be they did the north korean way of launching the missile at a high angle so larger apogee and not much range? thus the impact angle is also steep??

I think so too, the explosion seems a bit too small for a 400+ KG warhead

Here is video showing a MK84 explosion (430kg explosive filler) for comparison

‘Smashed Pakistan’ only in Indian wet dreams & Bollywood to cope with the epic humiliation they got handed, which the whole world witnessed.

Hi, yes, I concur. As I have posted in other threads, I spoke to JF-17 crewmembers in RIAT 2025 and they said the JF-17 lobbed a whole bunch of ordinance against India. The PAF is being tight lipped about this. If India truly smashed Pakistan, they would not have readily accepted a ceasefire.

Poor accuracy tbh.

LMAO! F2 isn't going to be used to hit a single person among a crowd. Its to be used against command centers, HQs, buildings, ammo depots, barracks, etc.

A BM to be this much precise serves all the intended purposes. As far as pin point accuracy is concerned, there are other weapons that can be more precise like the cruise missiles Taimurs etc or UCAV launched munitions or one way drones.

IMO, the test proves it to be a very precise.

Is there really any extended range variant or is it just a different TEL. People were talking about positioning of fins but honestly i cant even make them out on this zoomed out shot. Problem with f-2 imo isnt range, PA doesn’t really have any specific targets to hit 400+ km beyond front with this specific system. Navy otoh could def use an er variant. Need now is mass production of these weapon systems. Curious on when 2nd F3 test and if we’ll get any update on warhead size or extended range for that version since it seems to me that is supposed to be the more direct comparison to something like PRSM

Can s400 stop this missile?

One more issue is to track actual location of s400 radar. So many decoys will be there along with it
No. It's a pointy middle. Very scary. Nothing can stop it.

15000 + missles have been fired on Iran with the lastest technology, in about 3 weeks and it is still standing.

Pakistan's enemy is much larger and stronger than Iran, in the east.

Pakistan must have atleast 15 000 missles, each with atleast 1 ton / 1000 kg warhead, to inflict any meaningful damage.

And Pakistan must be ready to move in and capture as much land as possible specially in the disputed regions in the north to secure the sources of our water.

Perhaps China can help in composite / Carbon fiber technology.

The domestically developed T1200-grade fibre has a tensile strength 10 times greater than ordinary steel, yet it is less than one-tenth of a human hair in diameter, according to the state broadcaster.

It looks like the fuse was set to impact detonation or delayed detonation after impact.

Missile along with a significant component of the explosion dug deep and the ground is releasing the pressure.

Although the fuse can be set to air burst , instead of impact or delayed .
In that case a bigger explosion will be visible .

Fateh missile was never built for carrying nuclear weapons, will never carry one.
It doesn't need the highest level of authorisation or codes for being used, and thats a plus .
That was a huge restricting factor during may 2025.
Because the missiles available were dual use and under nuclear force command.
I know ...

There could be 2 theorries regarding the warhead
1) it was not for say a 400 kg HE warhead , could be a smaller test warhead
2) could have been using a delayed fuse and the majority of the explosion was absorbed by the soil

imho
I think the time the next Op Sindoor happens, we should have pre-selected targets ready to be attacked. As soon as they launch strikes, we launch counter-strikes. This can be achieved because every time they do this randi rona, they give us weeks of whining.
This was the main sticking point last time that I noticed. It was almost like we didn't have any targets and kept repeating, 'Just wait for our response.'
It was not about the targets, but we did not want the situation to escalate since we knew we have already won the war by downing their 6-7 jets including top tier Rafales. Also, we wanted to give some response albeit measured one so talking point was that with in GHQ that our attack does not trigger into a war involving their navy.
