We in Pakistan are falling for the same non sense. People are getting their juices flowing by the delivery system, but no one is interested in their destructive power. Army in particular keep on testing missiles, but they are far come convincing their utility when it comes to laying flat their targets. Most of the hardened structures in India, these missiles will just simply bounce off. For destructive power, we will endup relying on PAF again.

Hd-1s are great but im personally not that excited for them. They showed off a lot of intresting stuff beyond that many people have missed.

Some sort of LRMP artillery shell (tipu?)
Rocket launched mines
Unmanned mine clearing viechles
All kinds of intresting drones and anti drone tech including tons of jammers
But what i found most intresting is the repurposing of old ww2 era 37mm guns with RWS and radars/eo sensors to use in cuas work.

Amazing stuff displayed by mostly PA. I am happy to see Pakistan taking and implementing so many lessons from both ukraine and iran wars

What caught my attention were the tethered drones, the interceptor drones and the FPV hitting more than 300km/h.

GIDs had only shown a taxi test before, this new footage shows that the program was atleast a year ahead then previously shown

Completely different requirements. Hd-1 is still gonna be a pain to deal with as a better missile than brahmos but smash is a ballistic missile able to fully exploit lack of good IN ABM cover to get through
