Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

The numbers game cannot be underestimated. Iran versus Israel has ignited this debate and rightfully so. Although, what we should be mindful of is that the minuscule number of missiles that the Iranians fired towards the Zionists is essentially peanuts. It was also pre-announced and even then the Zionists got a lot of help from multiple countries including the US, UK, France and Jordan. Israel didn't defend itself all by itself.

That was israel US with state of Art Multilayered Air defence.

India does not have it. so why not invest on this. plus India is BIG unlike Israel.

Israel got a lot of help during the interception of missiles. Do you really think that the Israelis were intercepting all the Iranian missiles?

I can bet they did try to intercept BMs and may shot lot of them down and some exploded prematurely (to create window).

But do not underestimate Israeli air defence they did a mind boggling defence against a mind blowing missile attack.

surely some 21 BMs (rumour) leaked so be it! but still good job

real question is can india build a multilayer air defense like this?
how much it costs and can they do it?

You don't know the actual number of missiles that Pakistan has. Stop fabricating numbers.
Ballistic missiles are expensive and the tel launchers are expensive as well, Pakistan has maybe a few hundred launchers.

Just 200 - 350 missiles? That is a very small number, I expect to have a few 1000s atleast to make sure our defence is strong.
ours are nuclear weapon delivery platform - deterrence.

for Iranians its major tactical and strategic long-range weapon. hence large numbers

i think

If Iran really wanted to hurt the Israelis they would've launched them all at once, or timed them to descent at ince to over whelm thei defenses.
They didn't do that instead launched them in sequence over a few hours

You are just playing the guess game here. Pakistan has never announced the actual number of missiles. You can perhaps make a rough estimate based on certain things. A rough estimate is not the actual number.

Our missile production rate will increase & cost will come down as we are going to field BMs for conv. strike role.

Does Pakistan have an ample stock pile of BM and CM's for conventional use like Iran or are our's only reserved for nuclear strikes?
@Oscar
It does. Nasr can be loaded with conventional warhead. R'aad ALCM carries conventional warhead. Pakistan is also next to India so it can also deploy MLRS and deploy Weishi rockets that it bought from China. These have 120KM range. It has also developed / acquired Fatah-II guided rockets with 400 KM range.

Countries should be capable of producing missiles even during wartime and should maintain large numbers in stock, especially considering the Russo-Ukraine conflict.

Even if NESCOM has been sitting twiddling their thumbs for 25 years, they've developed a lot of this stuff out of sheer boredom I'm sure. Yes, there's a large majority simply doing sarkari jobs, but there's also a very small and extremely talented minority that is keeping us up to date on these things. I wouldn't worry too much about our GNC tech stagnating. I want to see progress in the solid-rocket motor department.
That brigadier and scientist, who were court martialed, they leaked Shaheen missile data to the Americans right?? So is this tech still our best deterrent??

Have been tested after that, they probably changed a few things, almost all missiles have been retested after that!!
