Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

Pakistan was indeed caught off guard by India climbing the escalation ladder so quickly and using BrahMos, a nuke capable weapon. Pakistanis could not tell if the BrahMos coming in were nukes or conventional. It was a highly irresponsible move by India and missing this point was a lost opportunity by Pakistani spokespeople.
It is a purely conventional weapon.

Use of cruise missiles means India climbed the escalation ladder very quickly, and used BrahMos which is nuke capable.

BrahMos is purely conventional. It isn't used by SFC. Yes it "can" carry nuclear warhead, but so can almost any missile.

These missiles don't broadcast identifiers of who and what they are, unlike airplanes. Pakistan could not tell if the incoming missiles are conventional or nuke, hence the possibility of a nuke response was there and why India using cruise missile so early was very risky and likely done in panic.

Yeah, this is what Pravin Swahney was saying as well, and that next time Pakistan will be prepared. I do think Pakistan has the quality of missiles to effectively pierce BMD. The quantity is another matter.

It was limited war within limitation of use of weapons and destructions scale. Pakistan officially said if utilized less than 10% of our capabilities.

However, both sides learnt their edge as well as weak points .
Now, both are trying to fill that gap for next round.

A Notam was issued by Pakistan from 16th July to 23 July for air space closure.no one is discussing about it?
any new missile Testing is possible?
waiting for hypersonic

You mean Pakistan is supposed to know whether India launched nukes or not? How exactly?
I did mention, anything used by SFC is going to carry a nuke. Everything else is conventional.

It seems like Pakistan wasn't really prepared for a conventional missile lobbing match because all our arsenal apart from very recently inducted Fatah is nuclear capable under the SFC.

Even our Raads and Baburs. Probably why they used Fatah 1s and air launched CM-400s.

Lunching nukes not that easy ... First of all .. because they in reverse them receive it too..

No parameters are there to identify that any nukes capable missile is containing nuke material or conventional warhead... Until there inter Intelligence..

While you can't really trust India's words, it does have a no first-use policy. And it would be quite embarrassing for a larger power to have to go nuclear against a smaller state because it couldn't keep up conventionally.

I personally do not think India would go nuclear first, but at the same time I wouldn't be so sure about it because it's an extremely insecure and reactive country under the Hindutva ideology.

Some Baloch accounts are reporting that a missile booster has fallen in Balochistan Pakistan had also issued a NOTAM to test the missile, so it seems that Pakistan has tested a missile .IMG_20250722_122927.jpg20250722_122935.jpg

Can anyone ID what missile that booster came from? Could be testing anti missile defences.
