Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

Apparently, the FATAH-4 was also displayed outside Jinnah Stadium. This would mark the first time the system has been unveiled to the public (it had been previously acknowledged to be in development). Interestingly, it bears a striking resemblance to the Harbah-NG, a subsonic, sea-skimming cruise missile.

At 750km range, it can very comfortably strike New Delhi by adopting a flight plan that avoids the major areas of coverage that protect New Delhi.

2/3 days at best. maybe one if it was an all out war. just too expensive

Yeah, so maybe the answer is go more basic rather then more high end?

As we saw, they hit our maintenece hangers, most of our fighters were dispersed in HAS.

If you think about howe many HAS the have we need to

1) Do risky business and launch guided weapons from fighters - Risks plane/pilot
2) Artillery - Range is a problem here
3) Cruise missiles - Numbers as you point out

Not a reliable system given its speed. High chance of interception.

Subsonics are good for saturation in a complementary role as part of a larger strike package.

But you need a supersonic cruise missile for singular strikes to have a chance of success.

You can't compare a Mach 0.7 to a Mach 3 missile.

Oh dear, we have already lost the war before a single bullet is fired 😆
In May, we mostly used FATAH rockets and Artillery with some special sorties flown with CM-400.
We never needed to utilise even the known systems like Babur, Rahad or Taimoor.
We let the Indians think that we only have the watered down PL-15s, then hey presto.

We are our own biggest critics, sometimes a bad thing, often a good thing....

TEL is same as Babur cruise missile too.

My understanding is FATAH series is just name for longer range non nuclear precision weapons.

First missile will be tested under SPD under their designation than army will pick and choose from tested platform. Get conventional versions of nuclear options. Slap that FATAH branding.

No it ain't it's more mobile compared to Baburs MLV.
Wouldn't hurt to just look up on the web

The more I think about it, the more I think tactical nuclear weapons on their main air bases then call a ceasefire.....
We just need to stock up on some licence produced YJ-12s. Get some ToT.

Chinese super-sonic cruise missiles. Mach 3 + maneuverable.

These should be our main strike weapons paired with Fatah 4 based on how well guarded the target is.

Maybe even the CJ-100 but Chinese probably won't export that.

Because the specs line up perfectly that it is the same class of missile, likelt derived from our existing tech in that domain. And the idea behind the Fatah series being conventional firepower weapons, some of which taken from existing nuclear systems.

Look at it closely you'll see

By what guide method does it get the accuracy of 5 metres?
