IMO, while the Babur-class will be the PN's primary surface ASW asset, I don't think it will buy more of them. They're configured for multi-mission ops, and carry a lot of high-cost equipment outside of the ASW mission.
The platform to watch for littoral defence (esp ASW) is the 38 m gunboat NRDI designed with Swiftships. I think that line of work could see NRDI develop a 60-70 m corvette to manage ASW ops.
OR the PN may take the USV and UUV route to help build ASW coverage, with the Babur class being a command ship of sorts for the drones.

A-90 Sub PNS Khalid is visiting Qatar in first week of March. Will visit them if it is allowed. And ask them about how the turkish upgrade went. Support of French if any in the upkeep of A-90's. Status of Babur SLCM (that mighy be a tricky and Sensitive topic for them to discuss)
