Pakistan Navy | News & Discussions

We have turbofan cruise missiles and we have rockets, so the only part left is the jettisoning mechanism and packing it all into a compact missile. I don't see why it couldn't be doable. Getting Yj-18 ToT would make it that much easier.
the jettisoning mechanism isnt the only tough part...making the timing right the guidance, the sea skimming the vls launch capability, newer turbines would be needed with more power all is very difficult to achieve in the budget our organizations get and the talent pool...so ToT Is the best bet..idc what the indians call our missiles as long as the Vishakhapatnam class destroyers taste the salty bottom of the arabian sea im happy

Also the Yj18 is sub launchable too from the torpedo tubes same like the kalibr.....
I pray that we get those yj18s at least in some number so our subs have a good antiship capability

what's the basic difference is babur and JCF ? I know one is corvette and other is frigate but when it comes to AD, number of anti ship missiles, and radars/sensors how different they are?

JCF in terms of capability should be thought of just Babur+, 16 vls cells is actually sort of the standard across many smaller navies.
