How many?

Land based, air launched, ship launched or sub launched?

Take your pick....
Why would they come inside the range of shore based Ashms? Or are we willing to risk sending our ships into the range of their Ashms especially considering The small number of VLS cells PN ships carry?

You think PN would let IN come some 300km close to shoreline so that we resort to Using Zarbs??
IN will use it's superior range of missiles to stay fae from PNs onslaught I'd say.

Notable at present brahmos outranges all but harbahs and those arent in widespread service yet

Nope, IN would not play an active role, the waters are far too dangerous. 2019 and 2025 actions prove me right and your wishful thinking wrong, and since those two skirmishes Pakistani missile range has increased, sea based IN missile range has not

Again, take your pick about the many ways we can fry IN....

Peak PDF fanboyism, bro is Talking about some imaginary Hypersonic that the PAF doesn't know it has.

Also sinking a carrier even one like Vikrant isn't as simple as we fired a missile and it's gone, it would take a multi dimensional effort from air, sea and Undersea assets to sink these.

So your saying that Pakistani military officials / ISPR including the Prime Minster himself are lying about the naval role of the JF17 block 2 carrying CM-400 AKG missiles to attack Indian aircraft carriers if they closed less than 400 km to Pakistan shoreline?

Or you think CM-400AKG is not hypersonic which according to PAF does reach hypersonic speed in the terminal phase

Wow wait who should I believe a fanboy or official sources

It’s not a hard one for me unfortunately

doing a bit more reading.

Theres multiple flights of 054A v1, the PN ones seem to be of Flight 1 config.

looking at this photo, when zoomed in, you can see the same shape inside of the cutout as you do in the reference pic, so i guess that solves it, the PN's 054A's DO have towed arrays, but in this case, lack the towed decoys.

Though, for what its worth, the reference pic uses an inferrence.

What the original doc says is that, the port cutout was present in the 054, the starboard was not, logically it makes more sense to have a torpedo countermeasure system onboard than a towed array, thus the port cutout MUST be a torpedo countermeasure, then on the 054A, we see both port and starboard cutouts, so the starboard one MUST be a SLTA.

the cutout just wasnt very clear in the PN pics, so it looked like there was nothing.

So what we now know is that the PN's 054A's DO carry some sort of towed array, we're just unsure whether its a sonar or a torpedo decoy. The PN has Aselsan towed torpedo decoy's on the Babur's, so it would make logical sense to have torpedo decoys onboard, on the other hand, the positioning aligns with a potential SLTA array too... What it is, we wont know for sure, but its better than nothing.

Great catch!

You said take your pick, I said there is no choice yet you keep repeating that shit, there is nothing left to play.

Yes, very good point, think IN also realised that some time ago....

"IN realized Saar" It's true that the Indian Carriers are dogshit but that doesn't change the fact that they have brahmos on anything that floats plus pretty potent air defences our chances of sinking them with missiles are pretty low.
