It is fair to say that most defense vendors have now realized that the Indians are not going to buy anything, it is all sweet bed talk that means nothing. Sweden took the right approach and look how well they did. Türkiye is eating up a lot of defense funding in Europe right now with their products. People cannot be as picky, nor can they be as distracted by India's tired old formula as they once was.

I do think those days are over (imho).
