Who is going to arrest anyone as a war criminal?
If you consider lack of action as complicity than the whole world is pretty much complicit.
Heroes are rare, real ones.
It's a very horrible and awful situation. I just don't know whether there is some angle where this works for the people of Gaza better than any other route.Inability is not complicity.
We saw how the reigning paradigm abducted a sitting president of a country and stole its resources. While one with international arrest warrants frequents white house and gets standing ovations in the congress.
Aiding and abetting is!
Getting caught up as a literal hostage is plain and simple stupidity!
Not helping anyone but getting caught up someone else's agenda.
and that is related to us how exactly??US building huge military base in Gaza
Through six degrees of separation !and that is related to us how exactly??

Joking aside, I still believe this is a lot of noise that will lead to nothing. Every single one of these countries will get tired/annoyed by Israel's positions and this may not come to fruition at all. And if does materialize, it may not be anything more than the ineffective UNPK mission on the Israeli-Lebanon border.
So if everyone knew the mighty Jews were against Pakistan deploying from the get go, then why such hue and cry here on DefPK about Pakistan selling out?
Win-win for Pakistan. Pressure off the back.
Don't you think it's too late now? They have already signed the contract. Signing a contract means they have already recognized Israel as a country, even if they simply signed it.
Pakistan can only help if it has actual remit and not meddling Israelis and Americans micro-managing. In essence the peacekeepers will see Palestinians being abused without being able to do anything.
Pakistan staying out of this is a good thing. I cannot foresee most of these Muslim troops (whether ours, Indonesian etc.) standing by while Palestinians get slaughtered. That would make for an extremely messy situation as you are highlighting.
Operationally, how would we actually support our troops with lethal force in case Israelis were being aggressive? The Israelis could drop 2000Lbs bombs on our positions inside of Gaza without appropriate air cover etc. (American guarantees mean nothing given Israeli attack on Qatar).
These are the things that the so called "thickskulled generals" are thinking about and providing advice to the sitting GoP on. Whether it is the Sharifs or Khan sahib, it would not make an ounce of difference in terms of the national policy in this regard. It would be EXACTLY same.
At most I see Pakistan offering training services to standup the police/military forces which is something that we have been doing for the PLA for the past 2 decades.
My opinion is US is lying and so are Israel. Israel doesn't international peacekeeping forces in Gaza. That would mean the Israel ground forces would have to withdraw from Gaza. Israel doesn't want to do that and is threatening to resume the genocide on Gaza this March. If the US can take it like the territories of Guam and Samoa, that would be better.
@Falcon29 What do you think?
Besides AIPAC influence and lobbying, the real reason why the US support israel is to keep the surrounding neighbours under its thumb. These Arab neighbours keep buying US weapons, sell off resources at cheaper rate and allow the US bases in return.
Giving the Gaza and the west bank the US as overseas territories should kill that reason.

To prevent international peacekeeping forces and prevent international criminal investigation into their war crimes in Gaza.
If any of this was true the forces would be in Gaza by now. They are already camped out in Egypt for months now but not given approval to enter.
Agree with you. But I would still need to see more US intiative in this and speeding up the timeline.Israel wants to go in Gaza and take it over, but doing it overtly would put pressure on them (they don't really care), and the US (which does).
So better to have some minion states under the auspices of Mr Trump to have that force, and still achieve the objective you want (i.e. control Gaza through your forces, keep Hamas out).
Anybody who thinks this board of peace is making the Gaza Riviera for the betterment of Gazans really needs to wake up and smell the coffee.
Secondly, nobody worth their salt actually thought Pakistan was sending troops in, especially after Israeli statements a while back.
