If there’s a peacekeeping force that allows the Gazans to stay and protects them then that is a great service to them.

Its Abraham's Shield. It's what Pakistanis are coming to become subcontractors for in Gaza. There is no other way the US/Israel would allow Pakistan into Gaza or Mideast.

Pakistan should not just jump in and start a sign up sheet like it's a trial for "who wants to play international cricket".

It needs to define an entry criteria with KSA. These two are founding members. A proper charter has to be build on terms and conditions.

There should be a minimal entry participation from each country whether in terms of military equipment or a budget that can give, so that adequate protection can be acquired.

VETO, the biggest threat to this alliance's success is veto. If Veto is given to wrong nations, forget it. The alliance will fail like IAF grounded their jets in war time.

So all these details have to iron out. It will take time and then decisions should be made as to who can or can NOT join in.

India's (and traditional "colonialist") points of reference on the geopolitical behaviour of Muslim nation states are compromised solely due to their ignorance and reliance on extremist propaganda, instead of rationally considering objective data.

The poor dears perpetually expect a "sunni-shia divide" or an "arab-non-arab" divide to somehow hinder pacts and agreements. In truth, these "divides" exist in the minds of hindutvas and crusades-lovers.

Certainly, a few extreme individuals will always rant and rave, and certainly, extremist groups can be co-opted by well funded foreign organisations, but mature nation states will tend to work pragmatically for the betterment of everyone's interests when left to hammer out deals themselves.

Even now, biased media organisations are quietly adding Iran to the list of countries threatened by any Pakistan-Arab alliance, obviously to encourage opinion against the alliance. The countries who are actually involved know full well that Iran has nothing to be alarmed about and, if anything, other nations confronting or guarding against Israel will greatly assist Iranian domestic objectives.

The best thing about this deal will be money.

Pakistan now has a blank cheque to buy what it needs. Some of it may be used to then field in SA. This may hasten the J35 acquisition in larger than envisaged numbers to boot. The Chinese will be happy... their coffers will be full and the PAF are the best people due to both skill and circumstance to battle test equipment. India keeps providing this gift / opportunity.

It also means that the qualitative edge will be strengthened by a quantitative edge also. India is FU*KD. The power dynamics have shifted.

As for the Saudis, this is a no-brainer. The yanks exposed their treacherous designs. The Chinese, a trustworthy people, do not play a zero sum games. They will be happy to see you prosper as well. The PAF fielding top of the line battle proven Chinese fighters is a formidable fighting force.

Sindhoor is the gift that keeps giving....of course, we will never forget the shaheed especially children slaughtered in schools and mosques due to the Hindu extremists copying Israeli tactics....

Hamas really do not seem to be that relevant any more.

Don't get me wrong - I am aware of the origins of the conflict and I know Hamas' history and Tel Aviv's manipulations of them and other Palestinian groups.

However, Hamas is presently defeated. Their declared allies in the region are unable to assist them any more.

They only continue to fight in complete futility because they - rightly - fear that many in Israel would try to completely eradicate Palestinians from either the WB or Gaza or even both.

If any 3rd party force, whether Arab-Pak alliance, UN, even NATO were to step in tomorrow and safeguard Gaza and WB's sovereignty as a de facto Palestinian state, then this is easily a "victory" (a pyrrhic one) for the Palestinian people, who presently face extinction. If part of that deal is to disband Hamas, then they should accept it without delay as it will save Palestinian lives and their state.

For the record though, I don't think the above will happen - Tel Aviv usually finds a way to scupper plans that do not satisfy their extreme elements (e.g. assassination of Rabin).

He hires folks with minimal perks and privileges, but fires them with maximum verbal abuses and fiscal punishment. And, if you cross him, may God shows mercy toward you.....

It's now obvious Pak has been "hired", and Bharat has been "fired".....

As for the Taliban leaders, let them now face the music....

I agree with everything you said about Trump. But that part that Pakistan has been hired and Bharat has been fired.

Why? Because there is NO benefit Pakistan has been receiving from the US, financial or military wise or even friendship until the start of this year. We've been on our own, with China and KSA and planning things ourselves including this defense pact. Then came May and that little war with India. The results of that war, plus, the push from KSA to Trump that they would sign the agreement with Pakistan has made the US realized it's time to embrace Pakistan and it's a legit fighting power with strong influence on US's friends and foes in Asia and the Middle East.

Plus US now has rare earth minerals interest and it's great for their independence from China.

One time I was talking to a senior officer in the US military about Russia, the media had started to say good things about them. This gentleman said "if you don't want to fight them, you side with them". So we are at that table now.
