he is still in doubt, if India is 'that' (Br**t*el)!

'still' (Stone) in doubt!

You have always been interesting member for me but please keep it to current affairs only and not the history prior to independence of Pakistan.
I like to look at the bigger picture whenever something interesting occurs geopolitically or otherwise and what better way to do so than look back into history whether Islamic or pre-Islamic? I find it all relevant or interesting as history tends to repeat itself. Besides for you to understand the present you need to understand the history behind. Either to keep what you cherish intact or correct past mistakes and learn from them.

Saudis will most likely use Pakistan to fight wars in Yemen or aggression against Iran. Everyone is excited but when we get attacked by India and saudia looks the other way then we will realise our auqaat. Pakistan must make sure this agreement is binding upon both parties and we will only defend saudia from attacks. Also keep in mind we mentioned many times that we will defend Makka and Madina with troops on the ground, maybe the agreement is to make it official. Qatar is close to Turkey, this is why Turkey sent troops to Qatar to defend them from Saudia attack, I know Israel bombed Qatar but noone can stop that except you retaliate by trying to shoot the planes down or chase them away from your airspace. Noone dares to bomb Israel since Usa will defend Israel at all costs. All the nuke propaganda needs to be buried, Pakistan does not want to internationalise their nukes so the world will make it out like we are a threat and come after us.
Do a little research before making such hollow conjectures. Pakistan never joined Saudi Arabia’s war in Yemen, in fact, Parliament unanimously voted for neutrality in 2015, so your claims are misleading.

And the point about Saudi Arabia not providing kinetic military assistance misses the real picture: Pakistan doesn’t need Saudi troops, what it wants is financial aid, deferred oil supplies, and diplomatic clout, which Riyadh has consistently provided. After the 1998 nuclear tests, when Pakistan faced Western sanctions, our foreign reserves dipped below $700 million and the country struggled to pay for oil shipments. Saudi Arabia stepped in, supplying free oil and deferred payment facilities that helped stabilize the economy and shore up reserves.

That doesnt mean anything, as i have said before. Economic ties don’t override defense treaties. China and India trade over $130 billion annually much much higher than Pak-China trade volume, yet Beijing arms Pakistan with missiles, submarines, and even aircraft often on soft loans. China and Japan trade more than $300 billion, but still face off over disputed islands and would probably be at War, if taiwan crisis falls out.
Hmm Yes, except that China does not have a 'mutual defence pact' with Pakistan or any of its other allies that will make it bound to use its military against banyland or any other enemy.

The head of the Council of Islamic Ideology in Pakistan, Sheikh Tahir Ashrafi, confirms that the Saudi borders today are the borders of Pakistan, and the borders of Pakistan today are the borders of Saudi Arabia, and we support security and peace, and we endorse the leader of peace, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and we support his vision for the two-state solution..

That is my point, if Saudis did not know and their air defence is in US hands then this is something they require, as well as nukes
Saudi Arabia's air defense system includes advanced U.S.-made systems like the Patriot missile system and the THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) system for missile defense, complemented by state-of-the-art radar networks like Peace Shield, and is backed by a growing local defense industry. The Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF), part of the Ministry of Defense, is responsible for operating and maintaining these systems to safeguard the Kingdom's airspace and critical infrastructure.

Key Components and Systems
  • Radar Networks:
The system relies on a comprehensive radar network, including long-range General Electric AN/FPS-117 radars and tactical Northrop Grumman AN/TPS-43 radars.
    • Patriot System: A key component for intercepting short-range and tactical ballistic missiles.

    • THAAD System: A higher-tier system designed to defend against short, medium, and intermediate-range ballistic missiles. Saudi Arabia is the first country outside the U.S. to produce components for this system locally.
  • Peace Shield System:
A sophisticated command, control, and operations system linking the radar network and air defense assets, with its command center located in Riyadh.

  • Local Manufacturing:
Saudi Arabia is increasingly diversifying its air defenses by boosting its local defense industry and manufacturing components, such as the interceptor canister and missile round pallet for the THAAD system.
Operational Framework
  • Structure:
The Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces is one of the five service branches of the Saudi Ministry of Defense and operates as a separate service branch since 1981.

  • Missions:
These systems are deployed to protect major cities and vital strategic sites, including Mecca, to ensure public safety during large events like the Hajj.

  • Diversification and Expansion:
In recent years, Saudi Arabia has been working to enhance its capabilities by expanding its procurement sources and strengthening its domestic defense industrial base.

In a perfect world, Pakistan would share/help build up nuclear infrastructure in KSA, Iran, Turkey, Indonesia, Algeria, Egypt etc. and this way the Muslim world would most likely no longer be a punching bag for the US/Israel/West or any other outsiders for that matter that have hostile intentions.

We are reaching a phase in the world where brute force is the only thing that matters. All the past decades of Western propaganda of human rights, international law and what not, has been exposed as nonsense or at most selective nonsense that is only applied for the enemies of the West whether geopolitical, economic, cultural, religious etc. enemies.

Therefore deals such as this one is a first step in the right direction and long overdue. It should result in something tangible as I wrote otherwise it would just be the usual hot air from our leaderships.

We need to create a deterrent.
Contrary to what many misguided people believe, this deal has been years in the making. It is not a reaction to the Israeli attack on Qatar, the framework was already in place. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have long been working toward a joint security framework in various forms for decades now. Its common knowledge that Pakistan already has already some sort of secret nuclear pact with KSA.

Its not suprising at all either, During the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990, we deployed around 13,000 troops to Saudi Arabia, and thousands more were present during Operation Desert Storm.

Yes so one of three things happened

1) System did not work as it was not ready to detect missiles from that direction
2) System worked by Saudis were helping Israel
3) US fully controlled the system

On paper (and if you ask chatGPT or DeekSeek), Qatar is also a potent military force! They have F15s and Patriot and all the fancy stuff.

@Meengla sb

Do you also love watching anti- FM AMW channels from Pakistan?

Regards

Nah, I know the cultists in this forum, some of who are on my Ignore list, and I know the cultists favorite fugitive bloggers sitting in the West, and I know many cultists themselves are situated in the West and they are laser focused on negative aspects of the Pak-Saudi deal--such pathetic souls. They have nothing to contribute to my knowledge because I believe they are infected with a virus which, hopefully, only time will cure them of.

But you need to stop trolling: My post above was quoting an Indian channel and was relevant to this thread--not common to see Indians flogging Modi, but there are a few.

Yes, that has what has led to this whole thing. The GCC thought buying all that kit bought security assurances. It did not....
