It's obvious isn't it ? After the attack on Doha every Gulf Arab kingdom is facing pressure from its population that feels insecure. The Saudi-Pakistan "mutual defense treaty " is nothing but a sop by the monarchy to assure its people that something is being done to shore up the defense. This way a popular uprising and regime change becomes unlikely.
Saudi Arabia will be delivered an ultimatum to expel the PLO mission, arrest, and hand over all Palestinian staff to Israel; since they are terrorists so far as Israel is concerned. If Saudi Arabia delays a compliance then the PLO Mission will be taken out by an air strike. The Saudis can then blame Pakistan for failing to honor its commitment to defend Saudi Arabia. This is what the ruling princes of Saudi Arabia want. Saudi Arabia will be rid of the PLO presence forever without antagonizing the popular sentiment of its people.

Yes, Would not surprise me at all if we had a large J-10 and J-35 buys (possibly 100 J-10Cs and 40-60 J-35s). Partly if not wholly Saudi funded.

I expect them to pull Egyptian defence equipment funding and just reroute this to Pakistan

PAF with only one squadron of J10 can only manage to keep IAF at arms length, to provide deterrence against IdAF, it needs substantial increase in numbers. Best outcome would be that Saudi pays for the jets, Pakistan own them, they fly with Pakistan flag, and will remain our assets, regardless flying in Pakistani or Saudi airspace.

One would be just for basing.

If things kick off we then send more, but numbers will be important.

Saudis need to understand that any Israeli attack and Pakistan helping them will leave Pakistan exposed to India and possibly even thgat may be a joint Israeli-Indian plan.

One attacks Saudi and the other attacks Pakistan as it goes to help Saudi.
