For what it is worth, PKR has strengthened by 2 rupees in the last 5 days to 279 per USD. If his call were to have any effect, it should at least go towards 300.

The only reason why PML-N, PPP and the generals have suddenly decided to accelerate talks with PTI is because their former backers US, UK and the EU are threatening and applying all sorts of pressure.
This was always on the cards. The Americans initially made a covert deal with Bajwa and now the Democrats are backstabbing. I had already predicted that this temporary honeymoon between Bajwa and the Democrats/US deep state would last until the Americans decide that it is enough. I guess that moment has arrived, and we are back to square one. The Democrats are in full assault mode. From missile sanctions to opposition to military courts. Are these the same Democrats that were turning a blind eye when PTI was being terrorised, kidnapped, tortured and put in jails after court acquittals in broad daylight? Suddenly the Democrats have found their humanity.

Stop kidding yourself bud. Your military and political leaders are under enormous pressure. Even the Europeans are now threatening with the GSP+ scheme. it is not very hard to see why the military and political facade is making a U-turn here.
