And if majority is ok watching from the sidelines - then so be it. The state was built for the people - if ownership was stolen and democracy doesn’t suit them and they don’t want to fight for ownership - then so be it.
Barely 2% stood up out of 250 million for their rights - after they saw them being stolen outright post elections. If that is the best the collective nations that inhabit Pakistan can do then so be it. If the will be another liberation war in the west or otherwise - so be it. There has to be an organic wakeup or life goes on.
Look at Syria right now - those who fight, fight - those that go to their daily lives go on.
Once a unified state it’s now being eaten up by wolves all around because of a semi similar elite rule situation.
The Pakistani people are happy otherwise we would witness 10m out of 250m out on the streets, not 50,000 protesting for the rights and freedom. Most of the people if in power will be similar to our elite, they all want money, power and the elite life. Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Libya are perfect examples, revolutions came, new government's came, we witnessed rebellions but what happened, any improvements? They're worse than before, more killings and division than before, all rival parties are funded and supported by foreign nations for influence and power.
The people of Pakistan do not want to see an internal war, all they want is reforms, better security, development of the nation. People may not like this but it's our military which is keeping the nation united otherwise these political parties would not mind creating 4 nations out of Pakistan just to get the PM seat and life time of power. Pakistan is a federation with local power given to the 4 provinces with local government, the people of Pakistan should unite and form a new party if Pmln PPP or PTI are not good enough but they continue to support these parties, they support the local MNAs MPAs, attend their rallies in 1000s, attend parties, any new person cannot even get much votes but our people respect money and powerful people, this is why they submitted to the English for 200 years.
It's unfortunate situation but over the time when our literacy rate improves, people will get more political and economic awareness, they will then demand more from our rulers, our rulers will talk about economy to gain votes, at the moment it's personality worship.
Regarding the military, they have lost alot of respect since IK removal, people did not like it, it was a big mistake which is costing them and now are breaking all laws to keep their power, another mistake. For me it shows they're not as powerful as we make them out to be otherwise the situation would not have reached to this level. The military needs to understand yes they have guns and tanks but you cannot rule 250m people with it, they must negotiate with PTI and the rebels to reach a solution, any exploitation by the powerful must be stopped so people are given relief, a nation cannot move forward when innocents are killed and others treated like rubbish by the elite, we must look after our weak.
