Pakistan UAVs News & Discussions

Nope Nothing so far, but at WDS26 GIDS showcased a Turbojet Variant of a existing electric engine powered variant of Blaze family, indicating they are still working on new LMs.
As for GIDS, it is impossible to assess how many of their systems like LMs, UCAVs are being inducted or mass produced.

whats your definition of mass produced lol
Nothing which can't be described without of using exponential mathematical function but certainly anything beyond prototyping and being in active service.

Buying TB-2s made no sense either, we already had the Shahpar 2 with practically Identical specs to the TB-2 if only that money had instead gone towards the development of the Shahpar series, Instead development moves at a snails pace because the program is running on loose change.

TB2 is much better than Shahpar 2.

How about looking at this acquisition from diplomatic lens. Baykar could have gone anywhere with its drones. A certain country in our East is struggling with developing a high-quality MALE UCAV. Broadly, I agree with your argument that this money could have been invested in our own systems but let me tell you that money is not the problem. Priorities are. Case in point recent acquisition of 2 very famous VIP transport aircraft for 20+ billion rupees.

If we had invested that money into our industry would we even need baykars Investment, also India struggling to build a Male UAV comes down to the fact that their babus are retarded not because they lack technical capability.

Baykar not going to India to sell TB-2 and Akinci and futuristic Kazilelma is what I am hinting and in absence of own solution, Indian government would love to get all these UCAVs.

What the fk is this

what is the news about GIDS Sarkash drone.
is it mass produced like in 1000 or double digits. Also how does it compare to the iranian Shahed 136 and the shahed 238.
According to specs:

Range$\sim$2,000+ km (High)$\sim$1,000 km (Lower)
GuidanceGPS/Inertial (Fixed target)GPS/INS, Infrared, Radar
Warhead$\sim$40–50 kg$\sim$50 kg
LaunchRocket Assisted Take-off (RATO)RATO
Target TypeStationary (Area saturation)Moving/Mobile Radar/Aerial

Sarkash-I Specifications

  • Range: 1,000 km
  • Weight: 175 kg
  • Warhead Weight: 50 kg
  • 500 km/hr

Also i have seen videos of the chinese offering shahed 136 clones for 10000usd only.

if we mass produce same thing in pakistan, will it cost higher then chinese factories or lower.

Also, what are cheaper between these three drones.

My idea is to have at least 100000 drones.

So if we buy from chinese factores for 10000 a peice around it will cost around 1bn .

definly not in the budget haha.
