Leaving the camouflage net on during live firing is plain stupidity. The muzzle blast and intense heat can set the net on fire in secs. What I saw in the video was them firing at a raised section of ground directly in front of them. I don't understand why anyone would shoot at a wall-like elevation of terrain at such close range. The blast and fragmentation appeared to reflect off the raised ground and come straight back at them. This is the first time I've ever seen such a bizarre incident.
Why were they firing at that raised section of ground from such close range? Their handling of the gun also looked highly unprofessional. They were giggling and operating it in an amateurish manner while another person filmed the whole thing.
I’ve seen the Indian Army firing these guns, and they follow established protocols, with each operator trained and assigned a specific role. The contrast in discipline and professionalism was striking.
watch this Topchi Military Exercise its done over and over again to develop muscle memmory so in battle ground you can operate these guns even with your eyes closedI've seen the same difference in how the two armies handle their guns. And this isn't just about one video. During Ops Sindoor in May 2025, an unexploded Pakistani 155 mm shell was found in Mendhar with a plug fitted instead of a fuze. It's an example of extremely poor artillery training. Fitting a fuze is basic training for any gunner.
