No dealing/negotiations should be done with PPP regarding new provinces

If Pakistan accomodates PPP re new provinces then Pakistan will send a wrong message to everyone....PPP will claim victory saying - look we are invincible and Pakistan had to deal with us. We opposed new provinces and look Pakistan had to strike a deal with us to get this done.

PPP also uses Sindhi nationalists to blackmail state

Sindhi nationalism needs to be confronted and broken once and for all. It's a cancer

didn't allow canals
now opposing and trying to bargain on new provinces

They need to be flushed out for good.

Pakistan needs new competent people, not these good for nothing waderas.

I hear you, as someone who has lived in interior sindh for more than 1.5 decades, then also in karachi, and having travelled to tons of times to ministry for work, I know what you mean by PPP having the whole nation and sindh in a choke hold.

For Sindhi national parties, you cant eradicate them but you can either buy their loyalty or work to decrease their influence. It will start to wane away the day the sindh barrage, and Nai ganj dam are created. These 2 projects will improve the water availability and improve irrigation.
The families cant be controlled till we form new cities that have indistries or alternate means of earning. A new province may help. PPP is but a cancer that needs decade long chemotherapy, slow and steady decline but with constant dose and removal of cancer.
The start for both PPP and the families has to be breaking the bond between the jataoi, mehr, Meo, shahani, Araein, pagaras and rest of the groups by dividing them in two provinces and let them then fight amongst each other. The state needs to have the same stubbornness that it had when Pano Aqil cantt was proposed and than executed. That decreased the free hand to the lawlessness of the family and their hired guns over time.

Divide the Sindh province. Its touted as a holy grail for a reason. The sindh assembly is a representation of the dozen or so families, peers, landlords or their stouges. No matter how and which shape it takes, as long as the outcome divides some of the families, landlords or the peers "holy land", its worth it.
