My understanding is that airframe life is set initially as an estimate and is then extended or reduced after observing how the airframe does in real life operations when it's components are monitored for fatigue during its service.
Airframe life can be extended of course like with SLEP program for the F-16 and how PAC Karma kept certifying the Mirage 3/5s for a longer service life after each overhaul. Same can be expected from JF-17.

PAF has always proven to be more dynamic and nimble in its acquisitions compared to its eastern counterpart.

Keeping aside the economy part of it, I am sure that PAF would be able to induct something at a short notice like J10, as and when the need arises.

I don’t believe induction is the issue - its the idea of percolating how to fight with it throughout the force.

These days, We are witnessing dozens of aircraft airborne everyday, rehearsing for the upcoming Pakistan day parade.
They could have cancelled it like last time but maybe PAF is just using hybrid aircraft to fool the public.

An Block 70 F16 can go to 12,000 hrs ... this is why people need to be careful which comparing Chinese jets to western jets esp when people say chinese jets are cheaper.. they are not. An JF17C will cost $40 million, and that gives you 4,000 hrs, a F16 Block 70 is $65 million. So, the JF17C costs more per flying hour for the procurement cost alone.. ie an F16 is $5,416 per hour excluding operating/maintenance costs. The JF17C is $10,000 .....

A humble advice, end self portraying. Whatever good things you have done will be remembered, you really don't have to market it. Let the history be judge of it.

Chinese media ,Global Times, SCMN and Indian media has confirmed that Pakistan has completed negotiation for buying FC-31 / J-31 from China . Soon number of J-31 will be announced . Pakistan got twenty of J-10 CE from China one year ago and did not try to get more as previously said that Pakistan will get 35 of J-10CE . This mean PAF has , probable diverted its plan and will manage remaining J-10CE money in paying for FC-31 jet fighters, .
So far current Pakistani ruler ( Establishment gang) has refused to give any big money to Zar-Shar (Zardari,Sharif) employees. So money will not be any issue to pay for FC-31/J-31 .
