China really develops so fast, literally challenges US century old global domination on all fronts, economically, technically, militarily and now is even in sports.

What we learn from Medals holder is consistency, hard work, focus, competitive and never give up mind set, and passion are recipee to be great at something

Only talent is not enough

Supportive environment, adequate infrastructure, health, financial support, and available time are also needed to achieve greatness in any thing.

The interesting thing about the US Olympic Team is that it is one of the few in the world which is privately funded. No government funding at all to search for talent at young ages. The athletes are all volunteers plucked from different parts of the country with different levels of training.

Unlike most other nations, the United States government does not have a Ministry of Sports and does not fund its Olympic Committee. This is in part due to the taboo of mixing sports and politics in the U.S. The USOPC was reorganized by the Ted Stevens Olympic and Amateur Sports Act, originally enacted in 1978. It is a federally chartered nonprofit corporation and does not receive federal financial support (other than for select Paralympic military programs). Pursuant to the Act, the USOPC has the exclusive right to use and authorize the use of Olympic-related marks, images and terminology in the United States. The USOPC licenses that right to sponsors as a means of generating revenue in support of its mission

USA is great in sport because of its school and university sport facilities and competition. It offers sport scholarship even since high scholl. One of Indonesia women basketball athlete get scholarship in US school while we have one men get scholarship from university played in Division 1 NCAA. Our women athlete has also been offered scholarship by a university in US which play in NCAA division 1 but she is still in high school now

Other that make US sport great is its big economy that allow sport enter professional level with support from US private sector (adds, sponsorship, etc)

But not at the crazy lengths of China. It's no mystery why they have increased their medal count.

TotaL US pathetic propaganda, like Xinjiang "genocide", US totally lost it when it comes to anything about China.

LOL! Pathetic propaganda eh? Look at these parents putting their 6yr old daughter through some intense training camp. This is abuse.
