POST WAR assessment of recent conflict.

Overall, it was a stalemate between the two countries. Militarily speaking. Diplomatically and geopolitically, india failed.
They were defeated in air force area we had a upper hand. But we failed in air defence area . Don't know why. Our less strategic depth area perhaps. Inevitable as irani missiles landed on isreal and isreal has the best air defence system in the world. And those high speed missiles add further complexity. But we too have high speed missiles that can fail their air defence systems why we only used fatah missiles ?

Why isn’t this thread discussing the absolute hammering that Pakistan army gave in IIOJK? The white flags rising from posts. The headquarters leveled. The video of dead soldiers sprawled on the ground. And according to some sources, 10 km of territory in Rajori that Pak Army took over.

Inside India proper, we had assets on the ground making videos and uploading them. They show hits from afar. In the presence of these, the satellite images could be showing the picture after repair works. On the other hand, India could have targeted Pakistani airbases at a time when satellites were about to approach, making for good visual spectacle. No international media is reporting on major losses of expensive equipment or lives. So concluding a relative win for India is just biased reporting.
Those are lots of massive claims, if true and backed by evidence they can turn the international media tide against India's upper hand claim, You can begin by submitting photos and videos of all you half a dozen claims.

In Bholari why weren't all personnel in trenches/bunkers when they knew other bases have been struck?
They were in aircraft hangar and hangars are no joke . They are as tough as bunkers I think. But as we see in the satellite pics there was a big hole on the roof and the missiles penetrated deep inside. Brahmos missile apparently. Modern day high speed missiles have that capability and those hangars are weak, probably built a long time ago.

All international media articles claiming the upper hand for India should also put through a basic prompt “Is this article objective” and it’s results posted.

Some will definitely pass the test has India has been more successful in providing evidence for causing damage even if exaggerated in its scale.

But many will fail this test. I just posted two in a thread regarding objectivity of such international media pieces that sounded like shrill nonsense goswami would be proud of

Dumb question: why don't we build our airbases on the western side of our mountain ranges?

HIgh speed missiles have limited course correction; they are not going to do a U-turn after being fired from India. Even if they are fired high up, there should be a shadow zone.

Before Indian agencies started showing proofs in press conference, these "neutral reporters" of international media ran articles with Pakistani word of mouth.
I wonder what's common among them.

The first is GMD, and the HQ-19 is recommended, which has the capability to intercept missiles outside the atmosphere and uses kinetic kill technology (KKV) to destroy ballistic missiles and hypersonic targets at the edge of the atmosphere.

Second, long-range interception. HQ-9 is recommended, with a range of 200 kilometers and an intercept altitude of 40 kilometers. Anti-jamming capability and anti-stealth technology enable it to intercept hypersonic targets efficiently.
too expensive. whatever we may have done militarily, our economy and tax collection is still pathetic.

summary of the topic, pakistanis discuss how to defeat india without sustaining significant damages itself (they already demonstrated capability to defeat indians but exposed in certain degree), meanwhile indians are clinging on missiles only capabilities for military operations.
it is major paradigm shift, so Pakistan needs some facelifting work while indians need to change whole body and mind to counter it.

The asset is hit but depot level fix - serendipitous considering the weapon used and where it hit. Loss of life however is still unfortunate.

The fault perhaps may lie with the timing of the attack and AD posture.
First, the attack was done barely 2 hours from the DECLARED CEASEFIRE time in the attempt to score it. Very ungentlemanly but no one expects that.

Next, AD was confused a little from ceasefire declaration to time to effect - potentially creating more confusion when the message from top was HOLD.
Thanks for the clarification & insightful post as always👍🏽We shouldn’t expect any better from this enemy. Lies, deceit & treachery are ingrained in their DNA.

you did not fail in air defence area in general as the main purpose of AD is denying access to enemy aircrafts which was done in first day of conflict, where you "failed" is swarm drones intrusions and that needs to be addressed for fine tuning,
regarding russian hypersonic missiles people already explained that only proper answer is your own missile stock and airborne capabilities for launching those to follow.
so, for full military supremacy Pakistan needs dozens of two engines airfighters and your own version of hypersonics, regardless imported or codeveloped with foreign partners.

you do not have long range air fighters and valuable air time would be decreased for existing fleet, you need some bigger birds first to buy.

@MH.Yang

First let us see how we can build a multi-layered panel all-encompassing interception system.

Your suggestion of multilayered AD system is correct. However they have to be populated by proper weapons like Akash, Barak, the S-series weapons etc and not useless Chinese junk.

Regards

India’s ‘upper hand’ claim via, avoiding accepting humiliating losses / suppressing reporting (shot down fighters are a prime example) and very sympathetic western media is a pathetic joke & only Indians desperately trying to cope will buy it so no need or point in trying ‘turn’ this tide of BS.
