POST WAR assessment of recent conflict.

Jammers saw mixed success in the past few days of the conflict and I do believe we need to work on improving our jamming capabilities on top of our Anti Air Batteries

Turkish KORAL and Hand held jammers should be seriously reviewed and inducted
Any idea how the indian EW equipment performed. It seems like non existent or did PAF completely neutralize it.

This tweet says 6th kill confirmed of Mirage 2000. How is a kill exactly confirmed a few days later? Local intel? Satellite tracks? SIlent admission by IAF to manufacturer?

Take a deep breath and relax. Look at it from the perspective of global geo-politics. Trump wants to sell American weapons to India. And that means it is in America’s favour if India keeps losing with weapons from all over the world or indigenously produced. And Pakistan is its weapon to persuade India towards this objective. India WILL lose trade with America if it tries a misadventure. Until and unless it signs a heavy deal involving F-15s and potentially F-35s, gives up S400, and in the process gives up the independence of its foreign policy.

This is the dilemma that the stinking Hindutva mind faces right now. Lose trade, or lose face. If it decides to lose trade, no one will mind if we make nuclear beef jerky out of them. I would say nuclear bacon, but roasting the cow insults them in a way that frying a pig doesn’t.

True to some extent, Trump is tryi9ng to force India to balance the service trade by buying US weapons. And once you are dependent on US weapons, they dictate your foreign policy. Pak is still partially affected by this due to F16s.

One fourth of the hangar roof has been blown away indicating a high speed impact, indicating Brahmos usage.

Generally, these hangars accommodate 1-2 biggish aircraft.
(non-fighter class).

Even if an aircraft was parked at diagonally opposite end from where the missile entered, there is likely to be significant amount of damage to it. It can’t be just shrapnel damage considering the size of blast recorded from that base seen in many videos. There would be damage due to blast and fire too.

What was inside isn’t known and is unlikely to be accepted by PAF.

This attack must have been carried out with highly accurate intelligence available, to inflict big damage to PAF war effort. My assumption that it would be most likely an AEWC.

It was anlso corroborated by the Air Marshal from Pakistan.

Are you coping by hoping for something to get hit? Dude, if Pak uses Chinese cruise missiles DH series, you might go berserk and scream APPA.

This is what i meant when i said you dont provide half arsed evidence when making claims as everything is under surveillance from private satellites to the numerous camera phones in our pockets.

India releasing the damage they did to Pakistan air bases has out done everything Pakistan did to India on the first day.

We still cant provide evidence for destroying Udhampur & Brahmos storage facilities as these were random statements for home consumption.

Now dealing with the humiliation is solely up to the DGISPR for being total morons.

What about the humiliation of 5:0?

WRT to the trajectory and ability to maneuver, avoid detection, was using FATAH a better option compared to Babur ? Fatah is more like a Guided Rocket/Quasi Ballistic while babur is Cruise missile, do you think that use of Fatah was a better idea given all targets hit were within FATAH-1/2 range.
why show all your cards when you can accomplish with using what is absolutely needed. it is likely that we may soon need some of those options as Modi and hindutva did not take all that transpired very well. I could be wrong but my major concern is that their missile were able to penetrate and hit quite a few of our basis. We need some remedy for that...

The main problem exposed by Pakistan this time is the lack of capacity to defend itself against missile attacks. First let us see how we can build a multi-layered panel all-encompassing interception system.

The first is GMD, and the HQ-19 is recommended, which has the capability to intercept missiles outside the atmosphere and uses kinetic kill technology (KKV) to destroy ballistic missiles and hypersonic targets at the edge of the atmosphere.

Second, long-range interception. HQ-9 is recommended, with a range of 200 kilometers and an intercept altitude of 40 kilometers. Anti-jamming capability and anti-stealth technology enable it to intercept hypersonic targets efficiently.

Third, medium-range interception. HQ-16 is recommended, with a range of about 70 kilometers.

Fourth, terminal defense. It is recommended to use 1030 type close defense gun and HQ-10, 1030 type close defense gun firing rate of more than 10,000 rounds/minute, can intercept the terminal speed of Mach 2.5-3 targets. HQ-10 using passive radio frequency and infrared imaging composite guidance, can quickly react and intercept the low-flying Brahmos. Brahmos flight by air resistance, the terminal speed will drop to below Mach 2, easy to be intercepted by the close defense system.

Fifth, the use of electronic warfare systems to interfere with Brahmos guidance systems (such as active radar and inertial navigation) reduces its hit rate. Russia's electronic systems are outdated, and electronic warfare usually yields good results.

Sixth, use AWACS in concert with ground radars to provide early warning and data sharing to shorten intercept response time.

Seventh, fighter-assisted interdiction. Brahmos is too large, and the air-launched Brahmos has a range of only 290 kilometers, requiring fighter jets to come close enough to launch them that they can be intercepted using fighter jets.

Likely through photo matching to get precise matches, so there can be no doubt.

For example, we're only now finally confirming a Su-30MKI shot down without a single doubt, where as before it was still up in the air what the image even showed.

The asset is hit but depot level fix - serendipitous considering the weapon used and where it hit. Loss of life however is still unfortunate.

The fault perhaps may lie with the timing of the attack and AD posture.
First, the attack was done barely 2 hours from the DECLARED CEASEFIRE time in the attempt to score it. Very ungentlemanly but no one expects that.

Next, AD was confused a little from ceasefire declaration to time to effect - potentially creating more confusion when the message from top was HOLD.

Can you confirm the timing of the ceasefire from your side?
By 15:20 hrs IST, the video was already circulating on social media.
According to the Indian press release. the call between the DGMOs took place at 15:35 hrs, and it was decided to initiate the ceasefire at 17:00 hrs.
This suggests that the missile strike occurred before the DGMO call — or perhaps it was the reason that led to the DGMO call

The most important aspect is face-saving.

Everything after May 7, even the decision during that night, was concerning saving Modi's face.

Every reaction from India side is also about face-saving, including the reaction to Trump's supposed mediation.

Beacuse Pakitan already win in limited war, but don't want go to prolong war, neither should India, but they are frenetic.

So you are not going to be satisfied until later.

Why isn’t this thread discussing the absolute hammering that Pakistan army gave in IIOJK? The white flags rising from posts. The headquarters leveled. The video of dead soldiers sprawled on the ground. And according to some sources, 10 km of territory in Rajori that Pak Army took over.

Inside India proper, we had assets on the ground making videos and uploading them. They show hits from afar. In the presence of these, the satellite images could be showing the picture after repair works. On the other hand, India could have targeted Pakistani airbases at a time when satellites were about to approach, making for good visual spectacle. No international media is reporting on major losses of expensive equipment or lives. So concluding a relative win for India is just biased reporting.

"10 km of territory in Rajori that Pak Army took over."

Really, when did that happen? Is there some proof?

Missile strike was post DGMO call per Pakistani sources - either way. The DGMO call being set the precedent for a decision of a “wind down” which was the mistake Pakistan made.

You don’t let your guard down against a ruthless enemy.

About 20 pages worth of claims and counter claims but no one is really bothered to satisfy you. Inconceivable!
