ISPR said one aircraft was damaged. The only places where the missile hit were the hangars at Shahbaz and Bholari.Did we lose any assets during the strikes on our air bases?

The answers to each question are widely different.thats the million $ question
Sir, current ceasefire - is any case a Ceasefire - its not peace as some people understand it.The answers to each question are widely different.
Can u explain how it lose advantage of INS?At longer ranges Brahmos will lose the advantage of INS and will become more susceptible to soft kill techniques such as GPS jamming but we will need the ability to jam deep within India. Alternatively, if we can track its launch deep inside India, its speed becomes useless because it enables even loitering ammunition to place itself in its path. At hypersonic speeds it will NOT be manoeuvrable and even a slight impact will explode the skin already plasma hot due to friction.
Take a deep breath and relax. Look at it from the perspective of global geo-politics. Trump wants to sell American weapons to India. And that means it is in America’s favour if India keeps losing with weapons from all over the world or indigenously produced. And Pakistan is its weapon to persuade India towards this objective. India WILL lose trade with America if it tries a misadventure. Until and unless it signs a heavy deal involving F-15s and potentially F-35s, gives up S400, and in the process gives up the independence of its foreign policy.Sir, current ceasefire - is any case a Ceasefire - its not peace as some people understand it.
Why is DG ISPR even today still threating? this can not hold. what if some shiv sena monkey gets a chance and smokes Amit SHah? then what? its a constant edge two countries are sitting on and realistic this just cant be maintained
we are looking at ceasefire broken down anytime. that is why i said its urgent if we are in situation where we do not even know how long it will last - once should prepare for worst and start arming from the word go not to wait.
Because at large distances it is susceptible to soft kills. INS doesn’t work very well at that distance. Can u explain how it lose advantage of INS?
The air lunched versions are used aginst Pakistan. Currently it has range over 400 km.. With same accuracy 1m cep.
Don't have any info about brhamos-2
Their assessment is based upon their own sources that they can verify and confirm as a matter of fact.Western experts say 3.
I think Fatah can carry heavier warhead then brahmosSomething is bothering me! I am sharing my thoughts! We have been found lacking – India has climbed the ladder why! They had the GLCM Brahmos! Which unfortunately our planners thought will not use. But they did! Our response was weak! Do you guys know how much is size of warhead Fattah 1 and 2 carries? These are MLRS (Rockets) against that Indian used GLCM Brahmos!! the damage will be significant on our side.
We had no answer! We could not use Abdali 1 SSM or Ghaznavi or Shaheen? Because we have earmarked them for nuclear delivery platform (by our own claim!) once fired we were not certain India wil take it as conventional event. So ballistic missiles were off the table. This is where we were found wanting S-400 SAM System near New Dehli intercepted at least 4 x fattah 2 GMRLS rounds at Hisar, India.
Once Indians Used Brahmos to attack AFBs we had no answer (we could not defend nor we could respond likewise) since a new normal is set. Anything happened in future except barrage of GLCM Brahmos again and again we will not have anything to respond with. We do not have aero-ballistic missiles. Its exteremely unfortunate in this new phase PAF and Pakistan Missile forces will deal with S-400 SAMs Umbrella and Counterfire from Brahmos ER also approximately 800km planned in future.
Its really unfortunate that we did not invest or purchase Zohair SSM from Iran with its 500km/320kg warhead is perfect choice. Same goes for the drones.
Indian Knew it! That is why they used it. Better to suck up the beating and get ready for next round.
also – one good thing did came about for Pakistan. What I hear after the air battle S-400 SAM sites rolled forward and indian correctly identified Saab-2000 as source of all problems. They had tried many times attempt to shoot it down with there longest range missiles. Now remember DG ISPR conference from day 1 missile getting shot at kharian, 3 crashing near amritser. Same just before Brahmos hit the Nurkhan AFB they had fired at Saab 2000 AEW to force it to move back. These were not the ballistic missiles. then we lost overlord 3 on ground at Bholari.
what do our posters at PDF think about this?
Shrapnel damage to c130s, not AEW&C !!!Shrapnel damage to AEWACs, easily recoverable. Reports of radar taken out. Shahadats amongst airmen, reportedly due to strike shortly before ceasefire start.
One fourth of the hangar roof has been blown away indicating a high speed impact, indicating Brahmos usage. If you quote your retired Air Marshal, it was Bholari where an AWACS was hit
The aircraft was on the tarmac outside the shelter. That’s what I have heard. One fourth of the hangar roof has been blown away indicating a high speed impact, indicating Brahmos usage.
Generally, these hangars accommodate 1-2 biggish aircraft.
(non-fighter class).
Even if an aircraft was parked at diagonally opposite end from where the missile entered, there is likely to be significant amount of damage to it. It can’t be just shrapnel damage considering the size of blast recorded from that base seen in many videos. There would be damage due to blast and fire too.
What was inside isn’t known and is unlikely to be accepted by PAF.
This attack must have been carried out with highly accurate intelligence available, to inflict big damage to PAF war effort. My assumption that it would be most likely an AEWC.
It was anlso corroborated by the Air Marshal from Pakistan.
The more ‘meaty military accomplishment was India’s’The reports being published from both the countries by in-house media houses are towing the official narrative lest they be labelled as anti-national.
Even international media houses have their own way of projecting conflicts due to their own loyalties.
Loss of aircraft for India, although not accepted by them, was indeed a big loss.
India appears to have successfully attacked more critical targets within Pakistan indicating lack of potent AD network.
These two articles from Al Jazeera and NYT appear to corroborate this line.

What did India and Pakistan gain – and lose – in their military standoff?
As the archrivals halt hostilities after four days of fighting, analysts discuss if either gained an upper hand.www.aljazeera.com
“Since the announcement, both countries have held news conferences, presenting “evidence” of their “achievements”. On Monday, senior military officials in India and Pakistan spoke by phone, pledging to uphold the ceasefire in the coming days.
However, analysts say neither side can truly claim to have emerged from the post-April 22 crisis with a definite upper hand. Instead, they say, both India and Pakistan can claim strategic gains even as they each also suffered losses.
Planes down may be Pakistan’s gain
India claimed that its strikes on May 7 killed more than 100 “terrorists”. Pakistan said the Indian missiles had hit mosques and residential areas, killing 40 civilians, including children, apart from 11 military personnel.
Further reach across border may be India’s gain
In many ways, analysts say that the more meaty military accomplishment was India’s.”
“Indian strikes on Pakistan damaged six airfields, Post analysis finds
The review of more than two dozen satellite images and aftermath videos found that the strikes heavily damaged three hangars, two runways and a pair of mobile buildings used by the air force. Some of the sites hit by India were as deep as 100 miles inside the country.“
Jingoistic noise aside, there were serious loopholes exposed on both sides.
