You make some great points, let me take them up one by one:
1- When they push towards that, we have the usual suspects brandishing the labels...you just saw how a "senior" member just referred to PTI has his enemy or something.
Such blatant agenda pushing is unfortunately rife in this forum by design, unfortunately. However, that is not up to the likes of you or me to change. We can only hope that unpopular views like ours, of whatever inclination, as still somewhat tolerated.
I would agree that there does not seem to be much room to have a dialogue. However, it is precisely the art of politics to create such breathing room where a process of dialogue and negotiations can then take place. If the two main parties deadlocked cannot come to this realization, then third-party influence needs to take the lead.
Usually, such political deadlocks arise more from one or both parties thinking that they alone hold all the aces, when , in fact, no one does in real life. Those who remain obstinate are culled quite often by such a grave error of judgement, rest assured.
And to give it to the lackeys and estab, they are smart in that they know who actually organizes and galvanizes the movement, and those people are hidden or in jail. The ones out are the compromised or incompetent ones.
Of course. One must expect both sides to do everything they can to maintain the upper hand as best as possible. Fairness has nothing to do with it, please note.
And I would point out specifically that every tactic applied has a limit to which it can be applied and be effective. Every such tactic.
Then there's the usual Pakistani bickering and leg pulling, so, not looking good for PTI in the short term future.
Perhaps the worst national trait. We would rather backstab each other to fight over each other's scraps, while the elite continue to have a feast at our table that we provide.
But that isn't even my concern at this moment.
It's how you are running the country, and boasting over it, and then doubling down on your nonsense. Have a look in the mirror for Gods sake and see what you're doing. It isn't the 80's anymore.
Yes, it is not the 80s anymore. But, sadly, I observe that is is the same people. As long as they themselves do not change, a change in what the calendar says will not change their lives in any meaningful way.
Thus far, I do not see any evidence that people really want such a change, despite many claims and hopes and dreams expressed in this thread and forum.
My words above may be blunt, but remain honest and sincere.
