That is why one must accept the stranglehold the military has, while working towards changing the system from within slowly, as well as investing in education and health of the people.

It is nice to think that if everybody keeps their heads down and work together with our Fauji overlords, that we may see progress in quality of life. More education and health for the common man, as you say.

But why should our army do that? It threatens them directly. The reason army can control Pakistan so easily is that to even give ISSB you need to at least have done FSc/A Levels. Meanwhile our politicians are jahil landlords (yes some of them go abroad to study but they mostly party) .

It is counterintuitive for Army to invest in education and healthcare of a young population. With the literacy and awareness will come questions that cannot be answered by ISPR music videos and dramas or by the broken English of a DG ISPR. Once that happens then they will find it hard to hold onto power.

The "Mr. 10%" label on Zardari was placed by the Sharifs in the 80s and , in return, the Bhuttos placed some serious charges on the Sharifs. And in their respective efforts to malign each other, the Establishment duly contributed over 3-4 decades and the charges have stuck. If you see all three players--the same three entities which PTI is targeting, they are the one who put those charges against each other. PTI was nowhere to be seen. So, logically, PTI accepts that those parties were right in their charges--that they are credible enough then. Except, of course, when anything those three entities charge PTI with, then those three entities are not credible.
Logic 101 or iLL-Logic 101?!1
TBH, there may be some reality to this. But Zardari had the services of all those evil lawyers that IK later enjoyed to push the court hearings into a perpetual delay. As a result, not only nothing could be proven against the accused in court but also Zardari was able to successfully play the card of political victimization.

BTW, IK tried to follow the same route but is not able to exploit ant legal loopholes due to his stupidity -- one grave and multiple candidates for burial. Zardari may have a thousand shortcomings but he is not an arrogant. Similarly, jiyalas were not as much of brainless fools as you*thias are.

Nawaz Sharif : Khaata hay tou lagaata bhi hay

Zardari: Bhai lagaana bhi tha?

Secular khooni liberals who got off watching mutilated children's bodies after drone attacks back in the war of terror days were never supporters of Taliban Khan.

Militant groups in Pakistan are idiots who target civilians instead of the dollarkhor generals. Around 100K innocent lives have been lost but not a single jernail or their family member has faced danger.

Why is it like that? because the generals have unlimited resources for their own protection while soldiers and citizens are treated as expendable cannon fodder.

The solution is to lock their families inside Pakistan, send their children to public schools, ban private hospitals for them and cancel their VIP protocols. Then watch how quickly Pakistan transforms into Asia’s safest country with world class schools and hospitals.

That’s right. Imran Khan’s "stupidy" doesn’t allow him to get artificially sick in prison in order to play the political victimization card like Zardari & Nawaz did in a similar situation! 🙄

You touch upon the same things I have previously raised elsewhere on PDF many times.

This is a paradox in which the military basically has to learn how to dismantle its own illegal hold on power in order to allow Pakistan to develop, since it has destroyed every other viable institution already.

Whether that is even possible anymore, or whether any outside influences can help such a transition are matters still up for debate I think, but one that likely does not belong in this thread.

This thread is about the protests IK's sisters are having to have their visitation rights granted. I will be restricting myself in this thread going forward, I think, as a result to that topic.

There is NO "paradox". Military establishment has to go and leave power levers of Pakistan in the hands of its civilians. IT IS REALLY THAT SIMPLE!

Fake news! IK’s sisters are giving tough time to a self-declared, self-appointed AND highly selfish entity called "The State" of Pakistan 🙄:

So, Germnails are state now… we knew from 78 years…. Now they’re pretty confident in their stupendously false opinion… they think 250 mil are there to serve this state…. He cant set any new lows i thought but meh….

But that doesn't mean IK has fought the right legal battle. The fool has always tried to defend himself trying to use technicalities. Since the evidence against him is rock solid, the criminal and his lawyers stand no chance of success if they fight on the merits of the case. As a result the convicted criminal is deservingly rotting in jail.
