Hard to disagree with you we are in the same boat as far as our history is concerned.....IK is no exception , I supported him more than any fanboy here .... bottom line is ! He maybe good in many things but he's not a PM material.... he's a self centered populist , he neither understands economy nor international politics.

but the Establishment that has ruled for 70 plus years doesn't understand economy, international politics, constitutionalism or even the concept of political stability. Frankly any civilian is better than the destructive Establishment that lives in its exclusive bubble and among the civilians , Mr IK is best of all.

I think the chance of Mr Imran Khan being allowed to go abroad is nil. He is not going to keep quiet in London and will tour foreign capitals calling the present hybrid regime a farce. That makes Establishment deeply uncomfortable. It also sets up the same situation that previously Nawaz Sharif and Benazir were in. I believe he is in AQ Khan situation, jail or home arrest are the only options.

We will have to wait and see.

IK needs treatment for his eyes urgently, and it would be inhumane to deny him that, especially when potential blindness is the alternative. Now, if it is offered and IK refuses to go abroad, then we must also respect his determination to stand up for his principles.

Yes, I have seen the figures and they are not pretty. But that discussion belongs in another thread. And it is not as if PTI or IK can fix that situation either.

debt is not the sole variable for the health of the economy, there are many other variable, you cannot simply pick one matric and declare that only this matters.

what do you think is the debt to GDP ratio of Japan, France, Singapore ? have a look.

I hope so. Nobody deserves blindness when it can possibly be avoided. Retinal vascular occlusions are impossible to fake, since the vessels can be directly observed and photographs taken that show the findings in clear detail.

funny how you deflect and change the topic when your absurd comparisons of Pakistan's economy to Japan of all places is called out. Pakistan is under an ocean of debt that it cannot handle anymore and is sinking deeper and deeper into every year, and for that we can thank your beloved Establishment whose model of providing services to foreign patrons to earn cash is completely broken.

Imran Khan and PTI have been elected by the people of KPK and Pakistan repeatedly. That is the fact that causes severe stomach aches to Establishment and its flunkies.
