For 3.5 years. He was then engineered out and now we have what we see in front of us.Are you for real my friend ? The support that PTI got no other civilian setup before it was given.
I agree with you, but you need to be less defensive. Stop treating Pakistan as a sacred concept - something that cannot be criticized. To carry on with my own crude terminology if the people are "shit", who makes them "shit"? Who makes them uneducated? Who has ghost schools? Who is responsible for ill trained teachers? Why are high school girls from the village down the road from mine protesting on the street about a lack of teachers in their school?! Who is responsible for that?
The mountains? the plains? the rivers? The sky? The trees? I don't think so?
Maybe it's the people? The people who reside within the state? Those self anointed to govern them? Those hired to carry out the will of our self anointed leadership? All of us?
What do you call that if not Pakistan? Pakistan isn't just an idea, a border, a geographical space - that's just the box Pakistan sits in. Pakistan is the people and the processes. All those who define the processes, who implement them, who exist within them, within various degrees share blame for the sorry state of events.
As Pakistani's, overseas or domestic - we need to demand better and we need to call a spade a spade.
You live in Pakistan, you are a 100 times greater stakeholder than me. You should want this even more. You should be an even greater critic of anyone who fails to deliver and an even greater supporter of anyone trying.
I live in the UK - i consider it a failed state too. I define a successful state one where a labourer can have a wife, children and afford 3 meals a day, clothes, shelter, warmth, healthcare and education. It's a simple formula. Any state that cannot provide that, is failing in my opinion.
People who live abroad are the ones keeping Pakistan afloat via remittances. You want then to stop that and come to Pakistan to be abused by the police ? What kind of nonsense logic is this ?Im not a PML or PPP supporter
I dont like PTI politics either!
why dont people who live abroad and chant PTI solgans at rallies, leave such countries and come to Pak. and give yourselves upto the police to show solidarity for your beloved leader!
there are no power politics, only selfish interests
its a question, it is hard to ignored!
it is for this reason, I think, IK should leave Pak. at once, these people dont need leader like IK! he should come here and work for his cancer research foundation

Hard to disagree with you we are in the same boat as far as our history is concerned.....IK is no exception , I supported him more than any fanboy here .... bottom line is ! He maybe good in many things but he's not a PM material.... he's a self centered populist , he neither understands economy nor international politics. For 3.5 years. He was then engineered out and now we have what we see in front of us.
Forget Imran Khan, or any other individual. Are any of us happy with the overall state of Pakistan? I think not. We all want it to be better. You guys who live in Pakistan are it's biggest stakeholders.
As an overseas Pakistani - I supported Musharraf thinking he would make things better. He didn't, for me NRO was the last straw. I supported military dictatorship thinking it was the answer, history has taught me i was ignorant. I supported PTI thinking Imran Khan was the solution - history may have proven me wrong again? IDK - we never got the chance to find out.
I'm not naive enough to think PTI is a miracle pill that will cure Pakistan, but I know that repeated doses of PPP and PMLN have made us worse, and repeated doses of dictatorship have caused many other side effects. I would have liked to finish the course of PTI and then maybe try another medication? Maybe even holistic! Anything is better than where we are going.
Hundi is just another money transfer system, ultimately the money does end up in Pakistan and is used to keep the economy afloat. The point remains that the state finances are only alive due to expat remittances and IMF World Bank bailouts. Pakistani muft khors should keep quiet.sorry, dont be under that illusion.
most of the people in EU or USA do hundi
I personally know, 2 Lahori industrialists sons who do hundi and study in Oxford here!
which world you live in
only proceeds which come through from official channels are of ME workers, that too, who are given direct pays!
seriously, your posts sound like a 'pole' which wont bend to any open views!
2 years back, one son, was caught by FCA and had to hand over operations of all the accounts!
pathetic and illiterate mental state you have!

hundi is used by everyone, including your beloved corrupt Establishment to whisk their illegal earnings out of Pakistan and into Dubai real estate. So many crimes the Establishment commits every day yet you are obsessed about Imran Khan only, a political prisoner.
PM Nawaz sharif ? ...he is a khota sika , you have some weird infatuation with this dudeWell, PML-N leadership's fight is with Cartoon-e-Azam Imran Khan and his family.
Just to look strong and mighty, you don't just lock up PM Nawaz Sharif and his daughter, PM Shehbaz Sharif and his son, and think they'll just forgive you or won't touch you because you're "establishment's Ladla".
There's a price to pay for such arrogance and stupidity, and Cartoon-e-Azam Imran Khan and his nephew is paying that price.
Pakistan Tehrik-e-Baqwas can jump up and down as much as it likes but Ladla ain't breaking the Shackles of Adiala until PM Nawaz Sharif says so.
cos you dont matter..
it seems like deal has been made , and now groundwork is being laid for his house arrest to bani gala or relocation to UK for "Medical Treatment".
All the other so called leaders are PM material and expert economists?Hard to disagree with you we are in the same boat as far as our history is concerned.....IK is no exception , I supported him more than any fanboy here .... bottom line is ! He maybe good in many things but he's not a PM material.... he's a self centered populist , he neither understands economy nor international politics.
I think the chance of Mr Imran Khan being allowed to go abroad is nil. He is not going to keep quiet in London and will tour foreign capitals calling the present hybrid regime a farce. That makes Establishment deeply uncomfortable. It also sets up the same situation that previously Nawaz Sharif and Benazir were in. I believe he is in AQ Khan situation, jail or home arrest are the only options.Seems like a win-win to me.
The sooner IK goes abroad for treatment, the better it is for everybody.
Have you seen the latest debt figures? Please do and then let me know if the economy is viable?I never claimed that I matter.
Then there are those who claimed that IK was so important that Pakistan would break apart without him as PM, or Pakistan would default and go bankrupt economically without him as PM.
Several years later, Pakistan is still here in one piece and its economy is still viable.
So I guess IK matters as much as I do - which is not very much.
