so according you we shouldn't have fought talis when they were less than 90 miles away form Islamabad , we shouldnt have fought them after APS attack .

Soviets were no threat to Pakistan. There was hardly any strong communist base in the country who’d ask Soviet Union to invade Pakistan like they did in Afghanistan.

Because communists in power in Afghanistan asked Soviet Union to intervene as they were about to lose power to another anti-communist faction in their country.
