Nope! They only repeated their previous mistakes of rigging elections or not accepting election results for the past 70+ years! 🙄
how so ?

Imran Khan didn’t win the 2018 election; he was installed. The so-called “public mandate” he claims was never truly his to begin with; it was a manufactured victory engineered through the establishment’s support at that time.

When the mistake became clear that he was not a reformer but a destabilizing force, the same establishment corrected it. His tenure exposed how dangerous it can be when populism meets incompetence: the economy nosedived, foreign relations soured, and institutions were systematically weakened.

Now, to argue that he deserves another chance is absurd. How can someone who stole a mandate once and squandered national stability be trusted with it again? He thrived on a foundation of deception, a leader built by propaganda, not performance.

The truth is simple: his “public support” was borrowed power, and like all borrowed things, it eventually had to be returned.

And to "fix" that; the military establishment chose to deny him power when public actually gave him the mandate to do so in general elections 2024? 🙄

Due to Imran Khan’s extreme narcissism and his tendency to sideline every capable party member, PTI has become little more than a headless chicken, aimlessly crashing into walls.

The bitter truth which Imran's supporters are unwilling to accept is that Imran never groomed a leadership team despite his so-called '27 years of struggle' blah blah. Even in this pro Imran forum, there is a poll which says something like 'PTI has no future without Imran Khan'; that tells you something, right?!!

Imran, Nawaz Sharif and Altaf Hussein suffer from huge personality disorders, making them unfit to lead a complex, vulnerable nation like Pakistan. The Establishment has wisely sidelined Nawaz Sharif and his once mighty ego is satisfied to be sidelined. Altaf Hussein has no future in Pakistan or elsewhere. Imran is splashing around using the resources of the KP province to come out ahead but ain't happening, not going to happen. I wish he is sent to some Saroor Palace in Saudi Arabia and put a gag on his politics for at least 10 years.

Only Imran Khan didn’t lose majority in recent general elections 2024. 🙄
Too late by then and I wasn't talking about that. I was talking about when his govt fell because of the no confidence thing.

That’s not quite accurate. The 2024 elections weren’t about denying anyone power; they were about correcting the misuse of it. What Imran Khan calls a “public mandate” is highly questionable, given the chaos, manipulation, and narrative control his team pushed before and during the elections.

Public sentiment may have been influenced, but public mandate is more than slogans and street protests. It’s about legitimacy, governance capability, and stability. When a leader weaponizes public emotion against institutions, undermines the judiciary, and incites unrest, the system has every right to step in to protect national order.

If anything, the 2024 scenario reflects the country finally realizing that charisma and chaos can’t replace competence and credibility. Power isn’t denied; it’s earned through responsibility, and Khan lost that privilege long before the ballots were cast.

And WHO is going to put the gag on military establishment’s politics that they have unconstitutionally doing for the past 70+ years! 🙄

That is hilarious. It sums up the history of Pakistan - one blunder after another by the military/hybrid dictators starting from Iskander Mirza to the present day, with sporadic episodes of sham democracy, mostly to satisfy the sensibilities of Western donors/sponsors.

If the Constitution meant something, Imran Khan would have been Prime Minister today and those who have usurped power would have been tried for treason.

That very "system" lost East Pakistan because it thought itself to be above the combined will of the people of Pakistan! 🙄

He got himself into this mess. People lose majority in a democracy all the time. But they stay in the opposition... they don't throw all their toys away. Basically, Cricket is a stupid game and it doesn't teach you to defend yourself. Should have played Chess instead.

Imran after losing the NCM Vote in April 2022 had a large number of MNAs in the National Assembly, a large number of MPAs in the Punjab Assembly, and was the ruling party in the K-P province. No other Opposition leader in Pakistan's history had such kind of leverage.
The Establishment had reduced the once mighty PPP to a mere 15-17 seats in the National Assembly in the 1990 elections but Benazir Bhutto still sat in the National Assembly as the Opposition Leader and gave a tough time to the PM Nawaz Sharif and eventually toppled him in 1993. In contrast, Imran had much more leverage in April 2022. But what a total idiot Imran proved to be who squandered all that!!!!

So winning elections free & fair is "misuse" of it? 🙄
that's the thing, they were not fair. let me give you an example that might help you understand.

Imagine a community that elects a leader. One time, Person A was supposed to take charge according to the people’s choice, but the community’s security stopped him from entering. Instead, they allowed Person B to take over.

Person B then used the community’s resources to please the people so he could secure their support for the next term as well. But in doing so, he damaged the community....... the neighbors turned against them, the local economy collapsed, and yet Person B kept telling everyone that everything was fine and that they were on their way to becoming a “superpower.”

In reality, he had drained the community’s funds and filled top positions with his own relatives. When the security finally realized their mistake and tried to remove him, he started shouting that they couldn’t do that because now “the people will vote for me,” completely ignoring that his original rise to power was never legitimate in the first place.

So, if military establishment thinks they have "fixed" Imran now, are they gonna repeat the same in the next general elections that are due in 4 years? What if Imran Khan is still in the winning position by that point? How are they gonna "fix" him then?

You need to do a lot more research and reading as to why we lost East Pakistan. and that is not in question here. you have yet to answer any of my questions. here is another one.

PTI has been in power in KPK for the past 13 years now ...... what have they achieved ?

Yes, he was an idiot indeed who decided to fight for his principles and civilian supremacy instead of compromising and agreeing to a NRO to save Mr 10 percent.
