I am ready to follow a guy against whom a single genuine corruption case hasn't surfaced yet despite putting all the resources available.

And tbh, it is funny to read comments of the supporters of family oligarchies about PTI supporters..

I don't know what's happening.

He has been saying the same thing since before he formed his own party. He mentioned we all need to sit with the establishment and ask them what powers do they want, then we can all move on and focus on governance without any political interference from them. He is hinting powers such as foreign and internal policy, international relations and like the powers given to current Field Marshal. Some powerful people must not be happy with all this instability, inter fights, hatred, rebellions, people not happy, lack of rule of law etc. In Pakistan power struggle is going on between ruling elites.

I don’t support any of the family oligarchies or military establishment, but they are the ones in power. There is a question about the future of Imran Khan and the PTI, and what is their way back; and that’s the topic of this thread.

I think its v faulty logic to think establishment can keep a few subjects to itself like foreign policy and interior ministry and the rest the civilians can run. The right hand must know what the left hand is doing. There has to be a single entity in charge and in the rest of the world and history also testifies that entity should be civilians.

I think Mr Khaqan Abbasi and Mr Khokhar have good intentions for bringing people together to discuss and resolve issues but there is no use trying to find some third way or exotic arrangement.

You will have to cut the establishment down to size and permanently banish them from governance and the economy. If that is not possible then the mess you see today is what Pakistan will be 78 years from now as well.

It seems like what ever mess we are having internally and with Afghanistan is that he sold us when he met Trump at lunch.

I will vote for Asim Munir only if he makes more provinces. He will die one day.. IK will also die of course.. but additional provinces will break the power of Sharifs and Zardaris forever..

PTI will exist in one form or another with or without IK
IK will obviously stay in jail or die around 2030.

PTI, however, it will morph into extremist likely anti pakistan grouP once IK dies in the jail..this ultimately will lead to KPK succession from Pakistan in 15-30 years.

THIS IS EXACTLY how 1971 played out , mujeeb was in jail, and extremists took over he probably would never went for bengladesh if he was allowed

The people will never forget them being wronged twice first with wali khan and then with IK, its not about Ik, infcat IK is basically a Punjabi, any other leader would have similar effect, its about perception that people have zero stake in the government and are merely slaves to military/cental punjab establishms

Its not easy to hold such a big province by force for ever..any economic, war emergency will lead to fracture

Balochistan has been kept in check because balchistan population is smaller, scattered and it has equal pushtoon amd baloch population

I don’t get what is the issue when you say imran has “given too much to criticize “ . May 9? Why hasnt there been a judicial commission on it despite repeated requests by IK? They haven’t found an iota of link with IK. What you saw was the anger of the awaam. Al Quadri ? Really? Where is the corruption in that ? Watches ? if this was an immoral or callous thing to do maybe but what is the big corruption for a watch ? Really ? Have r nawaz and zardari taken cars ? These all sounds like concocted political cases. This is not like Panama which was an internationally recognized list of money launderers . Dubai property..did IK have anything in Dubai ? No. The economy was growing . Just because he has the balls to take on the military by telling the truth openly he becomes an object of criticism ?
