One by one, all the vestiges of IK's tenure and influence are being cleaned up. This is only to be expected.

More proof that you are into a victim mentality and are constantly into whataboutism when you cannot debate the question.
Ok, I will it make it easy for you then. The only "victim" here is Pakistan’s poor military establishment. They create leaders and put them in power. Then they uncreate the same leaders and topple them out of power. Most of such leaders take it as a phase and wait it out for better times. Some like IK do not accept this betrayal by the establishment and how politics are done in Pakistan, hence why they are branded a "national security threat" by the poor powers that be. 🙄

You are only validating this here - you cannot see it from any other position than a “belief” and are providing every other possible evidence to show that belief.

Would you state the same for him in this picture?

What will you do to 90% of Pakistanis? Are you suggesting they must either be killed or punished?
The vast majority of Pakistanis are getting exactly what they deserve. Their vote is stolen as expected. They are shot dead when they protest on the streets against the military establishment, also as expected. - @VCheng

This guy repeatedly got relief from the military generals who put him there (first thrice in power and later twice in prison). Why these double standards? If today IK / Faiz Hamid start doing exactly as told, would they also get the same preferential treatment? 🙄
Do you know who are Saleem Ullah and Kaleem Ullah on defensepk.com lol

From that perspective Imran Khan has a great story - he is a mediocre if not poor “leader” at best but because he is loud, oratory and has a backstory of failures and struggled(many of his own ineptness) - we love it.

Of course. There is no denying the charisma of IK and how well he used it to rise to the zenith of Pakistani politics.

How he ended up like Icarus is a matter of sadness above all, and another sorry chapter in the legendary wasteland of potential within Pakistan, always tantalizingly near but never realized.

IK could have achieved so much. While some may say he was not allowed to, and some may say he chose not to do so, his promise and failure will be talked about for years and years, but the bottom line will remain that all he could have done never became reality.

Whataboutism again.

PML(N) supporters cannot be convinced of it and right now the same accusations are being put to IK - more importantly my question remains. Nawaz Sharif in 99 - would you apply the same “victim” metric?

IK could have achieved so much.
False. He couldn’t achieve anything on his own. There is a reason why he resisted DG ISI Faiz Hamid’s transfer the way he did after COAS Bajwa made a deal with PDM. 🙄

Lt Gen Retired Faiz Hameed was close ally of jailed Imran Khan who was suppose to be COAS but table turned by Retired COAS Qamar Bajwa who elevated Asim Munir for COAS.
Bhai, you must be living in your own world. Bajwa was the one who tried every move that he could to block Asim Munir's rise to the position of army chief.
  • The first list sent by GHQ to ministry of defense didn't include even the name of Asim Munir.
  • After it was included in the second list sent on ministry's demand, Bajwa was manipulating politically to get yet another extension for himself. IK even offered a life time extension to this coward gugu ghora. PMLN refused even though Bajwa sent several persons (including Khaqan Abbasi) to London for convincing NS.
  • After it became evident that no extension for him, Bajwa tried hard to pressurize SS that anyone else in the list except Asim Munir be made the army chief.
Bajwa was playing as an evil even reportedly threatening to impose martial law in the country. Both Bajwa and Faiz were fully involved in political brinkmanship. The latter played even much sinister dirty game at the cost of his own institution's integrity. More serious cases against him have yet to come.

I don't know if Bajwa will be punished for his dirty political game. Even if not, this coward should be feeling ashamed, disgraced and fallen in his own eyes for what he really achieved in his whole military career. If anything, it's just the Rs10B worth assets which will haunt him to the grave and probably into it.

That is again the typical fanatic turning to whataboutism and the same response.
You are trying to find some bucket in your brain to put me into because you cannot think beyond the two tone “with me or against me” perspective and assume as soon as I critique IK that I must support the establishment even when a basic search here will show how much I criticize them and see them in the wrong.

All in all - the definition of a cultist which then makes you more into the hyper victim mentality and with the one track argument and end up qualifying PTI today as a cult of IK rather than a true party.

Which is fine - PML is a cult of Sharifs, MQM was always the cult of Altaf, PPP cult of Bhutto , even the military is its own cult, and elsewhere Awami League cult of Mujib.

Cults are powerful, they can bring change and last for a long time - but until they go into either a succession line or a common belief(military) - like the AL in BD successive generations will move on.

Nawaz Sharif in 99 - would you apply the same “victim” metric?
Yes. NS was PM of Pakistan and had the legal constitutional right to replace any military officer under his command, including COAS of that time. That was his only "crime". The other being him attacking SC with his goons back in 1997. But that’s another matter and he never got charged or convicted for it.

Whataboutism again.

Panama papers wasn’t a fluff …neither were the court cases .. he had no paper work for his money

Noonies are the type that cut your line in traffic and then cry you don’t know the rules

They are no bodies they have the moral credibility of a whore
