I seriously hope Imran Khan and PTI is as enthusiastic as you are when it comes to opposing Islamic rule. Not that I am pro Islamic rule which I know is not possible but I am basically using Imran Khan Riyasat e Medina churan to defeat your argument.
Pleaseeeeee tell average PTI voter that Riyasat e Medina aint happening under PTI rule. Because more then half of PTI supporters are under the impression that evil amrika told Pak Fauj to arrest Imran Khan because he was going to make Pakistan true Islamic country

. Being bold is not a bad thing btw. If Asim Munir was alive during Salauhdin era he would promote him to highest ranking general. If Imran Khan was alive during Salauhdin's era he would have made him sit on a donkey upside-down and kicked send him off to crusaders.

I agree, but for Pakistan's situation.... true democratic system will never work. Otherwise you will have hypocrites like Imran Khan who will give Riyasat e Medina churan in speeches to get votes based on fake promises.

If Islamic system under military rule can work for over 1000 years, im sure it can also work today.

You should learn about Riyasat e Medina where Military not only controlled politics but also property businesses.

Boo fucking what? I don't care for your what-aboutism. I don't care how many years Nelson was in Prison cause he shouldn't have been sent in the first place. And if you are referring to Yasmin Rashid and the rest of course I care but you know these Generals are just such zaalim creatures. They did this to everyone. PMLN, PPP and all. Imran Khan is the most important so yes we'll talk about him more.

As morbid as it sounds PTI will run if Yasmin Rashid dies in prison from cancer but not if IK bites the dust. It's a one man show sort of thing (which you guys have labeled a 'cult' somehow)

However those things are in the past. Bhutto unfortunately hanged long before I was born, and Nawaz nearly got death penalty. Currently it's Imran and other PTI members in prison.

If calling out this stuff as wrong is besharmi then I am curious to know your unbiased opinion on the army right now. Or would criticisng them be too risky for you?

And I'll hold onto that 'deal' claim of yours now.

Imran Khan, the former Pakistan prime minister and World Cup-winning cricket captain, will be moved from his “death cell” in prison to hospital amid concerns about his health.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered on Tuesday that Khan, 73, should be moved to hospital, having been in jail for the last three years for a string of cases following his ousting as prime minister in 2022.

He will be moved to Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad within 48 hours, and will remain there until at least September 16, Naeem Haider Panjutha, Khan’s spokesperson, said on X that this would be the longest period Khan has spent outside jail since his imprisonment.

This meets a longstanding demand of his family and political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Khan’s sons by his first wife, Jemima Goldsmith, Kasim and Sulaiman, have repeatedly raised concerns about his health.

“It’s a very welcome order and we wish it had happened sooner so his eye and general health would not have deteriorated this much,” Zulfikar Bukhari, a PTI spokesperson, said.

He added: “He should remain in hospital until all doctors are satisfied.”

Khan spends 22 hours a day in solitary confinement, with his cell under constant surveillance, and is made to shower in “dirty, contaminated” water.

Al-Jazeera reported that Uzair Bhandari, a member of Khan’s legal team, said the three-member bench had also ordered a medical board be formed to oversee Khan’s treatment, including the ex-prime minister’s sister, Dr Uzma Khan, and his personal physician, Dr Faisal Sultan.

“The court also directed that Khan’s family be allowed to meet him at the hospital and that he be permitted to speak with his sons, who live abroad,” Bhandari added.

Since he lost ‌power in a no-confidence vote, Khan has faced multiple cases, including allegations about state gifts and an unlawful marriage. Some convictions have been suspended or overturned, with appeals pending. He denies wrongdoing, and believes the claims were politically driven.

In February, a group of cricket greats from around the world wrote a letter demanding better treatment for Khan, expressing “deep concern” about his prison conditions. Since then, the courts had twice denied requests for a similar transfer.

PTI won power in 2018 and retains a large support base across key provinces. But it was stripped of its election symbol before the 2024 vote, forcing its candidates to run as independents.

Khan has lived a colourful life, playing 88 Tests between 1971 and 1992, before moving into politics.

In the unlikely event this is even partially true - an unfortunate end to the last gasp of Pakistan’s middle class hopes on changing things via mechanisms available peacefully.

Now the avenues lie only in ethnic hatred based movements(suits some PTI supporters here) or potentially internal change through establishment.
