How can they be arrested with no charges whatsoever ?? Isn't that illegal ?

What threats do they possess to the state, they have every right to protest for their brothers release, what does the state want, for them to stay at home. Ridiculous. Noone in Pakistan talks about Khadim Rizvi sons who were kidnapped, judiciary is sleeping aswell as the awaam.

This looks like a politically convenient way out. They knew well before the march that their arrest was almost certain, so what were they still doing in Punjab instead of being in KPK?

In Pakistani politics, when leaders do not want to take responsibility for a power show, getting themselves arrested is the oldest escape route. If the protest fails, they avoid the blame and later present themselves as victims.

Escaping to kpk would had been a very bad move politically.
