PTI news, updates and discussions part ll

There are better idols for you to worship than the Fauj.

If the military does not want people radicalised against it, there should be immediate exit of military from politics. If they want to play like a siyaasi jamaat then they should be able to bear a few sayaasi chamaats.

This grandiose desire to pit the Armed forces against the people or vice versa just will not work.

Grandiose desire to pit? Have you been to Pakistan recently? Its already done.

Don't be fooled by the people staying quiet. Its not out of respect.

You do not have enough guns to take on the Army. It's a futile endeavour.

Where on earth are you taking this conversation. PTI is a political party. It will do protests.

The only badmaash party with guns is the Pakistan Army that uses state assets to take power and abuse civilian institutions and get their own people and loyal dogs appointed to relevant seats.

Where you started with your wish of having more people radicalised for a PTI win scenario.

By radicalised I mean strongly detesting the Pakistan Army's political presence.

What you're referring to is terrorism. We leave that for the establishment.

Order must prevail at any cost.

Of course, but who asked these faujis to come and maintain order? Who gave them the right, or did they take that right forcefully with the very guns given to them for protection of border?

There are plenty of other 3rd world brown countries that are running far better than Pakistan with zero interference from army.

Ham koi alag qoum nahi hay. We have been brainwashed with propaganda terms like "these people only understand danda" and "only Fauj is civilized rest are jangli"

There's no such thing as having a nation state where military has no say and are robots. Every institution plays for their own interest, atleast this institutional interest align with varying degrees with the states interest. Take out these institutions and what will be left would be a case of visceral genocidal hatred between different castes, creeds and colors.

The asian obsession with western democracy of the British crown is adorable.

Again, there is a difference between subject matter experts sitting in a meeting room with an elected leader and what the Pak Army does.

If Asim Munir is giving technical info to a Prime Minister on how best to handle insurgency or a national disaster, that is his job description.

Now let's please stop trying to defend Army here. Let's not. At least have the gall to admit that they run it like a Mafia. They stopped being an 'institution' long ago. They are more like a state within a state now. It's literally the cartel.

And keep finding western democracy adorable while it rules over you because you put your faith in centuries old military warlord leadership.
