Punjab looks to ‘neutralise’ TLP

Whenever people in the West criticize Pakistani for being radical extremists, no matter how much it hurts us and makes us angry, but its the truth and we have to accept it. I believe that its wise to listen to what your enemy or others say about you or have an opinion about you (granted its fair and neutral), because it shows you the mirror and its important to self-reflect on yourself and how you act and where you stand morally.

i guess they need to neutralize TLP before joining the Abraham Accords, there's a method to this madness.
The TLP has indulged in all sorts of extremism since its founding. The establishment always looked the other way because they were a tool to be used. The irony is that they will be "neutralized" for taking up a cause that liberals all over the world identify with just because it no longer suits the establishment.

They lured Saad Rizvi into a trap, inviting or allowing him to come out and protest, only to brutally crush the demonstrations. It was a message to Trump ‘Look how much resistance we’re facing, but we’ve bloodied our hands for you.’

True successors of General Dyer. Perfect audition for policing Gaza.

Not all TLP supporters are extremists. Every movement has black sheep who twist it for personal gain. Look at the Army for example, countless soldiers gave their lives for Pakistan, but a few generals cashed in on their sacrifice. Same with PTI like Jahangir Tareen and Aleem Khan type of people.
TLP pulled in a big chunk of votes last election. Those voters are civilians, not enemies you can just erase.

The deeper problem is that people no longer trust the "state". Many genuinely believe that our leaders work hand in hand with foreign powers to undermine Islam in Pakistan.

Muslim nations have been hijacked by corrupt puppets. Conduct a survey in Pakistan on Palestine and the Abraham Accords, and you’ll see what the "real state" of Pakistan feels and thinks. More than 90% of people would disagree with the current policy of the so-called state, which revolves around saving Asim Munir and his cronies by sacrificing Pakistan’s moral and historical stances.

oye Faujeeet...

watch for your education...there were army created... you denial is as dumb as the indians

don't care , don't use Palestine as a excuse to terrorize cites .

Good decision, I am generally against all religious parties but TLP is the worst of the lot. They are a mob party who pressurises judges to give the decision in their favour or else face punishment. They should have been banned long ago
Banning is not the solution; the root cause is the massive population of Punjab. Provinces need to be divided into small administrative units to control these gigantic showdowns.. ...............they been used against PMLN ,then PTI... and now...

This picture is now on all social media .....after success of Faizabad dharna

Alienating TLP and defranchising the vote bank would defeat the purpose of National Action Plan.

Government should rethink her approach with regards to dealing with sentimental issues for the masses. There are ample laws available to counter such matters without resorting to executive actions.

The state has a deeper issue letting extremist organisations grow and turn into monsters. No doubt some of it is political game play or not being too concerned in the eary stages, however a line needs drawing and this kind of systemic issue needs ending with an iron fist if needed.

If proper economic investment is made which gets Pakistanis out of poverty gives them opportunities to work they then will be too busy to get involved in these shinnanigans. Pak must come down hard on extremists and actors who want instability and same time get large investment in.

I know its simple to say, Clinton got one thing right when he said "its the economy stupid"
