Racist attacks leave New Zealand's Indian community feeling 'hounded'

"Saar don't let Indians in, we are better, we will just build mosques and implement sharia "

Then tell Canadians to elect a government that changes the law. Youtube comments are not policy. Until their government closes the door, people will use the legal routes available to them.

Isn't it so funny that the environment Indians tried to create for Muslims is now being made for them globally?

While the Delhi dum dwellers online larp on X as the most desired and loved, Lundians are getting humiliated and mocked around the globe.

Most Lundians are embarassed of themselves abroad while slum dwellers in India ruin their reputation more by threatening other countries lmao

The subset that goes abroad helps bring business back. That’s how much of India’s IT/services boom happened.

It’s not brain drain when it creates networks, investment and jobs at home. India doesn’t yet own the global tech stack, so plugging into the western one and extracting value just makes huge sense to us.
Oh it's certainly not "brain drain". My comments regarding "talent" were tongue in cheek but you seem to have taken them quite literally.

The actual point being made refers to the low average standard of life back in India, which drives these low-middle to middle classes out on the first available boat. You can't seriously expect me to buy this concept of these ubereats moped riding hordes in the UK being here to create networks? The only networks likely being created are those of the human transfer enablement pipeline. Fair enough - it is a business model in its own right. Keep up the good work.

"Don't fear Hanuman Canada saar! He will brotect Canada saar!"

Dear oh dear. Canadians are regressing with every passing hour.

Yes we are poor but doing better year on year, so what's your point?

There are a number of points that have been made and can still be made. But as I said above, if your nation takes some sort of pride in the export of simple indentured servitude, well, then these hard truths will fall on deaf ears.

They already are in that process.
However this was in response to your original post.

"Learn from India" she says, then points to the churches. This Christmas there were mass assaults on Christians and their places of worship. Yes let's all learn that.

Why wouldn’t our youngsters and their families take pride in the work they do?

For many of them their starting salaries are far higher than what their parents ever earned. That means savings, dignity, upward mobility and a better life. Calling that 'servitude' is just snobbery.

The problem is, IMHO, that India has always given a platform to these illiterate mobs, nourishing them with equally illiterate media apologism for their mob behaviour, instead of summarily condemning and crushing such barbarism. Even in this major Indian media outlet (and others even further afield, especially BBC), the journos use mitigating language to describe simple criminal and terrorist acts or religious violence perpetrated by hindus. This is not an accident. It is deliberate in order to dampen the impact of crimes committed by hindus.

The problem with this strategy is it is also very obvious to any third party whenever it is done. Take the following for example:

A standard case of an "honour crime" or "femicide over dowry", but apparently, as per this and previous reports on BBC, we are to understand that it is some spicy drama where alternative narratives may well be credible, (maybe she committed suicide? Lol) and that the media "frenzy" is very important in this case. This gutter journalism seeks to deflect from the core issue, as per usual.

Every civilised nation's legal statute declares dowry murder to be an honour crime. Simple as that.

Yet nowhere in the BBC's tripe show do their Indian origin team have the basic human decency to declare this to be the case.

Yes, Cherylann Mollan, this is what matters, that "conflicting" theories have been "sparked" off. I don't know how she sleeps at night for writing this garbage, like it's supposed to be some spicy Bollywood plot!

"whose death has sparked conflicting claims of murder and suicide"

You are not doing better. The upper caste in India is doing better.

There is a reason why the youngsters in India feel like cockroaches.
Our political discourse gives people space to vent, fight elections, protest and push for change.
Can you honestly say the same about your homeland?

No, your political structure oppresses its people and divides them in different castes. On top of that, Hindutva claim that Hindustan only belongs to them and not other minorities living inside India.

Can you say that India is a just society? Why do people like you consider poor Indian youngsters as cockroaches?
