If the majority hates it so much, vote in a government that actually changes the border rules. In a representative system, elected governments make policy. If they keep allowing immigration, issuing visas and signing labour deals, then clearly online outrage is not the same as actual policy.

I know this whole 'elections and representative government' thing may be unfamiliar to your homeland, but that’s how it works.
