You misunderstand the ecosystem completely. Nobody said "racism is okay".

Indians seem to have a certain strategy or stepwise algorithm for "dealing" with white skinned racists.

1. Plead with the racist for acceptance by citing the economic or social contributions of OTHER Indians.

If that fails...

2. Accept the racists assertion that Indians are gutter trash but throw other migrant communities immediately under the bus and declare Indians to be "slightly better saar!".

If that fails...

3. "Here I do dance or my wife or my prime minister will do dance for you."

Honestly that's all they offer.

Let's not even mention the fact that Indians have been raised in such a hierarchical environment themselves that they immediately and quite naturally classify others on the basis of race. Have you ever sat at a dinner table and listened to self-appointed upper class Indians yapping about (a) other races, (b) other classes, (c) other castes and religions? They can hardly hide their vile hate.

They are attacking Indians left and right. Abusing Indians on the streets. Countless cases.

Indians thought that they would be the beloved darlings of the white far right gang. Turns out, the Indians are just as much and even a bigger target.

The exact same thing happened on 4chan. It's actually surreal to see it play out in the real world. They came in around 1-2 years ago trying to fit in with white supremacists bashing Islam and it got thrown in their face- same playbook same result, astonishing. Now there are daily indian hate threads.

Yup, and after years of demonising muslims many Indians in the west now describing themselves as "South Asian". At one point another of these vile group dances in a European town scare tried to be passed off as "Pakistanis" by the local Indians until somone pointed out the Hindu religious chants.

Safer for us now to make sure Pakistanis indentify openly as Pakistanis. How times have changed

Brit-Pak types are a strange bunch, neither fully here nor there, but full of “innit” attitude and crude abuse. I’ve worked with Pakistanis from Pakistan and some of the educated ones were genuinely pleasant. But with many Brit-Pak, education doesn’t seem to make much difference, the bitterness still comes through.
