"Roses Are Red, Violets Are Blue, & Polar Vortex Is Coming For You"

This is why people should just stay home during these road conditions.

I remember a high school teacher saying he went to see the Cotton Bowl in Texas and they had some freak snow/ice storm and cars were just flying off the roads into the side ditches because people were still trying to drive 90mph. He said it was crazy.

Could have been the Flutie one but it seems to me he relayed the story before '85.

Finding good music is getting harder each year. When I find something I like, post it here so I can find them, and enjoy them as I putter around the house.

Have to put up with awful music at work, the same shit every night. You may or may not have noticed, my music selections occur on Tuesday, the start of my weekend. Helps to clear out the dumb music still ringing in my head.

It's been a tough winter on older homes here in Oklahoma. Have a few projects in mind. Kitchen drain will be one of them. I think the extreme cold cracked open the drain pipe that was installed last year, put in by a handyman on the cheap.

When weather gets better, thinking of re doing it myself.

To keep my rent down, I do nearly all the repairs on the place. And make improvements. It's what I do for fun.
They are all designed to be sound worms - unfortunately - just as it is difficult to make something like Tropic Thunder without getting cancelled it is difficult to make different music. I personally dont like heavy metal (unless its Hell March) but that doesn’t mean one cancels it out.

Tulsa TV station reporter on Facebook yesterday asked us in Nowata about doing a news story on our town. LMAO, nearly 50 complaints about this shit hole.

Number one complaint is our streets. The only decent street is Mississippi, that was paved by Cherokee Nations last year.

News reporter asked if anyone wants to go on TV talking about our streets. I volunteered, told her I will tell the viewing audience our streets in Nowata are worse than any ghetto I ever lived in.

Second is our water and sewage department. Third, our crooked judicial system.

Two positive comments about Nowata, Oklahoma. Both lived out in the country on ranches.
