On May 22, 2024, within the framework of the IX annual conference "Digitalization of Industrial Russia", KAMAZ and Sberbank signed an Agreement on strategic partnership in the field of digital financial assets for the implementation of the Digital Kilometer project.
The "Digital Kilometer" joint project will allow KAMAZ digital (a project of KAMAZ PTC for the development and promotion of digital services) to issue digital financial assets (DFA) on the SBER platform, which KAMAZ employees will be able to acquire at the first stage, in the future it is planned to attract other market participants. Kamaz employees will also receive an opportunity to participate in the company's business, for example, in NATCAR logistics transportation. URALAZ PRESENTS ITS NOVELTIES AT THE STT/COMVEX-2024 EXHIBITION IN MOSCOW
URAL Automobile Plant, one of the largest automotive enterprises of the Russian Federation, presents new commercial vehicles at the main exhibition of construction equipment and technologies in Russia "CTT/COMvex-2024", which takes place on May 28-31, 2024 in Moscow, at the Crocus Expo IEC.
The exhibition opens with a drilling and crane machine (DCM) mounted on the new Ural-80 chassis with a 4x4 wheel arrangement. This chassis is distinguished by the use of a new 4-cylinder YaMZ-535 engine capacity of 238 HP, the original tail of the cabin and wheels of a smaller diameter.
6x6 Ural-6370 tractor unit with a crane manipulator unit (CMU) continues the line-up of all-wheel drive vehicles. This is a new tractor unit model with a cab-over-engine cab, an updated interior and exterior design. The vehicle has double-tire wheels, which make it possible to increase its load capacity. The presented tractor unit with CMU is designed for transporting dropside or specialized semi-trailers on public and departmental roads. The movement of goods from the semi-trailer is carried out by a crane manipulator mounted on a tractor unit.
Another all–wheel drive novelty is a multifunctional crane manipulator (MCM-210) mounted on the Ural Next chassis with a 6x6 wheel arrangement. The target area of application of MCM-210 is the electric power industry, energy services of housing and utility sector and communications, as well as the field of road and low-rise construction - drilling wells in the ground, installation of piles, poles of power lines, etc. Special lodgments provide the opportunity to transport 3-4 supports up to 11 m long.
The line-up of special purpose vehicles on the Ural-C34520 all-wheel drive chassis with 6x4 wheel arrangement is represented by specialized contact network repair vehicles (PNP) and a grapple truck. The vehicles have cab-over-engine cabs with a new interior and exterior design. The load capacity of the Ural-C34520 chassis is up to 18.6 tons, and three wheelbase versions make it possible to install a wide range of special superstructures that will allow vehicles to be used in the municipal, road and construction sector, etc.

The number of airbags is reduced due to side curtains.
Front seats received mechanical adjustments, together with this disappeared memory of seat settings, as well as ventilation. The rearview mirror is usual, without auto-dimming. In addition, in the Comfort configuration there is no atmospheric illumination, a system of circular vision, wireless charging and a built-in recorder. The greatest growth in sales (+38% to 32.4 thousand vehicles) was demonstrated by the segment of light commercial vehicles (LCV). Next by this indicator are buses (+33% to 7.3 thousand vehicles).
And the smallest market growth is observed in trucks (+4% to 40.3 thousand vehicles), which is due to the high base of the previous period. As for the breakdown by month, the market of new LCVs grew all four months (vs. YOY). At the same time, the growth was quite significant - in the range from 27% to 63%. At the same time, the most successful month for trucks was February, when their sales increased by 18%. At the same time in April they decreased by 6%.

Speaking at the conference "ComAuto - 2024", which is held within the framework of the exhibition COMvex, Executive manager of agency "AUTOSTAT" Sergey Udalov named the most popular brands and models of commercial vehicles in our country at the end of 4 months of 2024.
Thus, in the brand rating of the new LCV market the leader is GAZ. The volume of sales of light commercial vehicles of the domestic brand in January - April amounted to 18.4 thousand vehicles, which corresponds to 56.7% of the total market. Three more Russian brands - UAZ (share - 18.5%), Sollers (8.5%) and LADA (6.1%) - follow. GAZelle NEXT (10.9 thousand vehicles) tops among the models, accounting for 33.6%. In the medium duty trucks (MCV) segment, GAZ became the leader as well (2.4 thousand vehicles, 34.7% share). It is followed by domestic KAMAZ and Chinese JAC, which share amounted to 24.2% and 14.3%, respectively. GAZon NEXT (1.6 thou. vehicles, 23.2% share) tops the model ranking. As for large-capacity trucks (HCV), the brand rating is headed by Chinese brand SITRAK (7.3 thousand vehicles) with a share of 21.8%. Russian KAMAZ (16%) and Chinese Shacman (15.1%) and FAW (11.9%) also crossed the 10% mark. The model rating here is headed by SITRAK C7H (7.3 thou. vehicles, 21.8% share).
In the bus segment, about a half (47.3%) of all sales falls on the domestic brand PAZ (3.4 thousand vehicles). Recall that currently LADA Niva Travel is equipped with a non-alternative 1.7-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 80 hp. Also at SPIEF-2024, in particular, will be shown a pre-production sample of electric car LADA e-Largus, production of which will begin in the third quarter of 2024 at the plant "LADA Izhevsk". It is planned that LADA e-Largus family of electric cars will include passenger and commercial station wagons (that will have modifications with different batteries and different payload).
They will be equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous electric engine with a rated power of 50 kW (short-term can reach a peak power of 120 kW). Two traction lithium-ion batteries are located in the engine compartment and under the body floor (in the place where the gas tank was located earlier), which allows to fully preserve the useful volume of cabin and trunk (560 liters in the five-seat version).
The e-Largus dashboard has a digital combination that allows you to control all systems of electric car, the level of charge and range. The powertrain settings will provide a maximum speed of 145 km/h (limited by electronics), as well as dynamic acceleration (less than 10 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h).
