The characteristics of Forland trucks for the Russian market have become known
MB Rus company, a part of Avtodom group, will start official sales of Forland trucks in Russia in August this year. The first to enter the market will be the Forland 3 light-duty model, Forland 5 and Forland 8 medium-duty trucks, as well as the flagship Forland 12. The Forland trucks will be presented in a specially adapted version for the Russian market, reports the press service of MB Rus. The new Forland 3, available with three variants of wheelbase 3 000 mm, 3 360 mm and 3 800 mm, thanks to low curb weight has a payload up to 1680 kg.
A special feature of the flagship Forland 12 with a wheelbase of 5,750 mm is the possibility to install a superstructure with a length of up to 8,200 mm without additional body extension. Another advantage of this model is a 600-liter fuel tank. Forland 3 and Forland 5 trucks are equipped with a 2.5-liter turbodiesel Aucan 4F25 TC with an output of 157 hp, which works in tandem with a 6-speed manual transmission. Under the bonnet of the Forland 8 is a turbodiesel (156 hp) paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Finally, the flagship Forland 12 is equipped with a 4.6-liter turbodiesel (209 hp) and 8-speed manual transmission.
Standard equipment of Forland cars, presented in the Russian market, includes air conditioning, multifunction steering wheel, steering column adjustment in two directions, sprung seats with heating and ventilation, fully russified multimedia system with color display, active safety systems ABS and ESC. All Forland trucks, designed for Russia, are adapted for operation in our country. Diesel engines are equipped with fuel system heating and forced particulate filter burning system. Accumulators for low temperatures are used. Oil seals, dust covers, pipes and other technical components are made of materials designed for operation in severe winter conditions. Cables, harnesses, connectors made of thickened material or double layer are also made with due regard to Russian climatic conditions.
Thermal insulation of the cabin has been improved, and the list of equipment includes a rear suspension stabilizer and engine coolant preheater. In addition, specially for the Russian market Forland trucks undergo additional anti-corrosion treatment.
