Russian automaker AvtoVAZ will equip Lada Granta with CVT in 2024. In this respect he is writing “Auto Mail.ru” with reference to a source in the company.
It is stated that Lada Granta will receive the WLY CVT18 shifter already installed on Vesta. However, the Granta will be paired with a 16-valve 1.6-liter engine producing 98 hp instead of the Evo’s 1.8-liter engine producing 122 hp.
To increase reliability in the Russian version of the WLY CVT18, the oil volume was increased to 7.2 liters. An oil change is required after the first 30 thousand kilometers. The cost of Lada Granta with CVT is still unknown.
Before that in Russia started Sale of Lada Granta with automatic transmission. It is stated that automatic transmission is installed in sedan and liftback body types. The cost of the first version with automatic transmission is 1.17 million rubles, the second starts from 1.24 million rubles.
