48 NEW VOLGABUS BUSES HAVE BEEN DELIVERED TO KHABAROVSK
Alexey Bakulin, General Director of Bakulin Motors Group LLC, and Dmitry Demeshin, Acting Governor of the Khabarovsk region, took part in the ceremony of handing over a large batch of new buses.
48 Volgabus buses located in the parking lot of the Yerofey Arena will enter the routes on June 1, 2024. There are 19 medium buses of 4298 model and 29 large units of 5270GH model.
All vehicles run on environmentally friendly and cost-effective gas engine fuel. Buses are adapted for the convenient entry of all passengers, including people with limited mobility. They are equipped with video surveillance systems, air conditioner and heating, and charging for gadgets.
By the decision of regional authorities, some buses will go to suburban routes with the greatest shortage of vehicles, and the rest will serve passengers in Khabarovsk.

64 VOLGABUS BUSES HAVE BEEN SENT TO GATCHINA
As part of a new municipal contract concluded in 2024 with the administration of the Gatchina district, Trans-Balt is carrying out a phased replacement of rolling stock. By July 1, 2024, transport workers will receive a total of 64 medium buses that will serve 35 municipal routes. The first 6 large Volgabus buses were received in April. All of them have already entered the regional routes.
The first three buses from a large batch for the Gatchina district left the BMG plant in the Vladimir region. They will have to go through a "run-in" and overcome 1,000 km to their destination.
The new buses run on environmentally friendly liquefied natural gas. They are low-floor and adapted to serve passengers with limited mobility, equipped with video surveillance cameras outside and inside the cabin, climate control systems and automatic passenger counting.

KAMA HAS INTRODUCED A SINGLE-SEAT ATOM VAN FOR DELIVERY SERVICES
The Kama company, which is developing the Atom electric vehicle, has introduced light-duty single-seat LCV for delivery services. The van will be based on a single platform with other Atom versions.
The van belongs to N1 category (vehicles used for the carriage of goods and having a maximum mass not exceeding 3.5 tons). The maximum volume of the cargo compartment is 1,600 liters, the permissible weight of the cargo is 360 kg, the loading height is 69 cm, and the loading length is up to 220 cm. The body has a removable interior partition and a system for securing loads (floor rigging rails, fastening hooks and belts).
Mass production of such vans is scheduled to be launched in the third quarter of 2025 at the Moskvich automobile plant.

THE KAMAZ UNMANNED LONG-HAUL TRACTOR UNIT HAS BEEN TESTED ON THE M-11 HIGHWAY
On June 5, 2024, on the day of the start of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, Sergey Kogogin, CEO of KAMAZ PTC, assessed the effectiveness of commercial transportation in unmanned mode by driving an unmanned KAMAZ long-haul tractor unit along the M-11 Neva federal highway. The total length of the route, where long-haul tractor units operate, is 650 km. Sergey Kogogin made a trip from Vologda to Saint Petersburg - along one of the sections of this route. As a result, KAMAZ long-haul tractor unit delivered the Wildberries cargo to the sorting center in Saint Petersburg.
The digital long-haul tractor unit, which the KAMAZ head drove, has been carrying out cargo transportation between Moscow and Saint Petersburg for a year as part of the road train with a semi-trailer. The vehicle was created on the basis of KAMAZ-54901 long-haul tractor unit. The model is equipped with KAMAZ 910.10-550 six-cylinder inline engine displacement of 12 liters. The wheel arrangement is 4x2. As additional options, the truck is equipped with communication, navigation, technical vision, and incoming information processing systems: in particular, 2D and 3D lidars with an interface unit, an all-round camera, various antennas (VHF, LTE, Wi-Fi), a navigation antenna, a computing unit and other components are installed. The brake and steering systems, engine and automatic gear box are controlled using an electronic CAN-bus.

KAMAZ AND CORDIANT HAVE SIGNED AN AGREEMENT ON EXPANDING COOPERATION
On June 6, 2024, within the framework of the XXVII Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, KAMAZ PTC and the leading Russian manufacturer of automobile tires, Cordiant JSC, which created the tire cluster of the same name (part of the S8 Capital holding), concluded an agreement on expanding cooperation in order to provide enterprises of the leading Russian engineering corporation with modern tire products.
The Cordiant tire cluster unites four production sites, including the assets of Cordiant itself, as well as plants purchased from foreign Continental owners (now the Gislaved plant) and Bridgestone. The total production capacity of the Cordiant tire cluster is 15 million passenger, light-duty and truck tires per year. It is the second largest manufacturer of domestic tires.

A BATCH OF NEFAZ BUSES HAS BEEN SHIPPED TO AEROEXPRESS
KAMAZ, together with the authorized dealer of the company, Transport Center LLC, delivered a batch of NEFAZ buses to Aeroexpress.
Restyled low-floor NEFAZ-5299-40-52 city buses are made in Aeroexpress's signature red color and are equipped with additional options that increase the comfort and safety of the vehicle: air conditioner, a digital tachograph, 8 video cameras and a DVR. The spacious doors of the buses make it convenient to board and disembark passengers with luggage, and the air conditioning system maintains a comfortable temperature in the cabin. Buses are adapted for people with disabilities: a wheelchair space and a folding ramp are provided in the cabin. The total passenger capacity of the bus is 111 people; it has 29 seats.

THE K5 CABIN ASSEMBLY SHOP WILL BE ORKAMAZGANIZED AT
The advanced cabin assembly site of the cabin assembly shop of the KAMAZ Automobile Plant has been renamed the K5 cabin assembly shop. In the next two years, it will become a new highly efficient production facility.
The first stage of the new assembly line, designed to produce 35 thousand cabins per year, is planned to be ready for launch at the end of 2024. It will be located in parallel with the existing production on the territory where the logistics center's warehouses were until recently. Now this site is being cleared of equipment, partitions, and walls. During the corporate leave in July, the filling of floors and the formation of a pit for an automatic assembly line will start.
After the launch of this line, the existing assembly line branch will be upgraded, and then they will be combined into a single line. Its capacity is designed for the assembly of 60 thousand cabins. Unloading of the K5 cabin frames will become automated – they will immediately be sent to the storage unit, and then, according to the laying plan, they will be delivered to the assembly line using a special system at intervals of four minutes. For a more convenient assembly, the number of posts will increase, new manipulators and smart wrenches will appear. The robotic glass gluing system minimizes the influence of the human factor and will ensure 100% water resistance of the cabin. The sprinkler chamber is subject to modernization, where the cabin is checked for tightness. The assembly line itself will become automated, the cabins will roll off it every four minutes and go to the storage unit. The entire assembly process will be controlled by the MES management system. All the necessary equipment has already been ordered.

THE FIRST HYBRID CAR ON THE UAZ CHASSIS WILL APPEAR IN RUSSIA
Production of the first Russian hybrid car has been announced in Russia. Its creation and production will be handled by the EM-Rus company, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.
It is planned to complete the development of the hybrid system in 2024, after which the certification phase will begin, and commercial samples will appear in 2025-2026. At the moment, development work is focused on finding a suitable combination of an internal combustion engine and a generator to ensure maximum range.

NEFAZ 5299-40-52 BUS WAS TRANSFERRED TO PULKOVO AIRPORT FOR TEST OPERATION
NEFAZ bus was transferred to the address of the Northern Capital Gateway LLC for test operation at Pulkovo International Airport. At the end of May this year, NEFAZ 5299-40-52 bus entered the route after passing all necessary procedures. Within two months, the bus will transport passengers from the terminal building to the aircraft ramp. Based on the results of the test operation, the possibility of purchasing buses of this model will be considered.
NEFAZ 5299-40-52 model produced at NEFAZ, KAMAZ subsidiary in Bashkiria, is designed to meet modern requirements for passenger safety and comfort. This is a low-floor bus, the cabin has a completely flat floor and there are no steps at the entrance. Thanks to the knilling system, it is able to tilt towards the door opening for convenient entry and exit of passengers. NEFAZ is equipped with a ramp for convenient entry into the cabin for passengers with limited mobility and fully complies with the "Accessible Environment" program requirements. This model is equipped with automatic gear box and an independent front suspension. The total passenger capacity of the bus is 111 people, it has 29 seats, as well as one seat for passengers with disabilities.

THE RUBLE COST OF THE HYBRID VOYAH FREE SPORT EDITION BECAME KNOWN
Voyah Free hybrid crossover in the version Sport Edition was delivered to Russian dealers, while the car cost starts from 6.49 million rubles. Taking into account all the discounts, the price is 5.89 million rubles, Kommersant reports with reference to the brand's press service.
The novelty is equipped with two electric motors with a peak capacity of 490 HP (720 Nm of torque), acceleration to 100 km/h takes 4.8 seconds, and the maximum speed reaches 200 km/h. The maximum range of the version Sport Edition has been increased to 1 thousand km according to the WLTP cycle.
The model is equipped with an air suspension with adjustment range of 100 mm, an all-round viewing system, 20 electronic assistants, a lifting dashboard with three displays (12.3 inches each), etc.

Aurus enters into a collaboration agreement with St. Petersburg

Aurus and the St. Petersburg administration signed a cooperation agreement for an investment project to create a high-tech automotive production facility as part of the development of a premium engineering cluster. According to the press service of the St. Petersburg government, automotive component enterprises will be attracted and developed to form the cluster and localize technologies.
"We see a great significance in the fact that St. Petersburg allows us to concentrate component and subcomponent production, engineering developments and automotive production on one site," said Aurus CEO Andrey Pankov. Production of Aurus cars at the former Toyota plant in St. Petersburg is planned to be launched in collaboration with a foreign partner by the end of 2024. The enterprise has already been handed over to the carmaker. The new line of business-class cars, which will include at least four models, are scheduled for launch in 2025.

Hongqi announces new products in the Russian market

The premium brand Hongqi is set to update its model range in Russia and enter a new market segment. According to Ivan Savelyev, Executive Director of Hongqi in Russia, the company plans to introduce the HS3 compact crossover to the Russian market in the near future. Additionally, in 2024, the updated bestseller of the brand, the Hongqi HS5 mid-size crossover, will be launched in our country. The model is currently available on the Russian market, but it will soon be offered in a new version following a restyling.
According to the automaker's press service, this will include an updated design and improved equipment. Furthermore, during SPIEF-2024 the Hongqi LS7 luxury full-size SUV was presented. The vehicle was first unveiled in China in October 2021 and has been in production since 2022. The Hongqi LS7 measures 5,690 mm in length with a 3,300 mm wheelbase.
The SUV is equipped with a turbocharged 4-litre V8 petrol engine (355 hp, 500 Nm), an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. The vehicle accelerates to 100 km/h in 9.1 seconds and has a top speed of 200 km/h. The Hongqi LS7 is scheduled for launch in the Russian market in 2025.

KAMAZ to construct a truck production facility in Moscow

KAMAZ and the Moscow Government entered into an agreement to collaborate on the high-end truck production. According to the Moscow government's press service, the document outlines the establishment of the first Russia’s robotized plant for the production of medium- and heavy-duty trucks. The production center will utilize domestic IT solutions to facilitate planning, automation, management of production and monitoring of technological equipment and personnel. The total investment in the project is estimated to be 50.2 billion rubles.
“The Moscow automobile plant is expected to produce approximately 40,000 vehicles per year. The trucks will be adapted for variety of sectors, including construction, logistics and agriculture. To facilitate the construction of the cutting-edge production center, we are offering the investor a 60-hectare plot. The enterprise will employ 1,400 staff,” stated the mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin. We should remind that in 2021, the Sokolnichesky carriage repair and construction plant in Moscow commenced assembly production of KAMAZ electric buses.
As a result, the time required for delivery, assembly and maintenance of electric buses was reduced, logistics costs were saved and approximately 100 high-tech jobs were created at the enterprise. Furthermore, KAMAZ is currently constructing a state-of-the-art repair facility and a component warehouse on a 14-hectare plot of land provided by the Moscow Government in Krasnaya Pakhra (TiNAO), in close proximity to the largest electric bus park. The new facility will ensure timely, quality repair and maintenance of city electric buses, buses and municipal vehicles, as well as training of new, qualified personnel. The facility is scheduled for commission in 2025.

Automobile Technologies, which previously launched direct sales on the official Peugeot and Citroen websites in Russia, announced a new partnership with SberAuto and Megamarket marketplace. This new partnership offers customers extended purchasing opportunities for a range of Peugeot and Citroen vehicles, including the Peugeot 5008 (in Allure and GT versions), the Peugeot 4008, the Peugeot 2008, the Citroen C5X and the Citroen C5 Aircross, all produced in Kaluga.
These vehicles are available at the recommended retail price with delivery. The purchase can now be made in two ways: at the dealer or on the online showcase, with just a few clicks. This information was provided by Automobile Technologies press service. At the initial stage, the vehicles are delivered in a closed car carrier and the service is available for the residents of Moscow and areas within 250 kilometers from the capital. However, SberAuto plans to expand the delivery zone to encompass all major cities across the country.

Tatarstan to produce gas versions of Moskvich cars

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, RariTEK Holding and Moskvich automobile plant signed a memorandum of co-operation. The document outlines the development of Moskvich gas vehicle production project at RariTEK production sites in Naberezhnye Chelny, reports the company's press service. The joint efforts of the Moskvich plant, Gazprom Gas Motor Systems and RariTEK companies resulted in development of gas-fueled versions of the Moskvich 3 and the Moskvich 6.
The installation of gas equipment and its adaptation on the vehicles is carried out by RariTEK, a company participating in the production chain of Moskvich Automobile plant. The installation process involves the installation of underhood equipment and shut-off valves manufactured by Gazprom Gas Motor Systems and cylinder equipment by Real-Storm. The Moskvich 6 can run up to 250 km on a single methane refueling.
The consumption of natural gas is 7 cubic meters per 100 km in a mixed cycle. Additionally, a total range of the vehicle is 900 km on both petrol and natural gas. The gas-powered Moskvich 6 is equipped with a 136 hp 1.5-litre turbocharged engine and CVT automatic transmission.
