There is an independent spring suspension in front and leaf springs in the back. The second place among the largest European car markets was taken by Great Britain with 147,517 vehicles (+2.5%). If Russia is taken into account when considering European automobile market, our country in July was on the third line (a month earlier it was on the fifth).

As reported by experts of “AUTOSTAT” agency with reference to the data of JSC “PIC ”*, the volume of sales of new passenger cars in Russia in the second summer month amounted to 136,221 vehicles (+42.4% to July 2023). The fourth result was shown by France - 126,036 cars sold (-2.3%). On the fifth line in the European championship there is Italy, whose car dealers sold 124,806 cars (+4.7%). In the course of preparation for this event the experts of agency found out that Chinese brands are already higher than Korean brands in terms of the number of passenger cars owned by legal entities.

Thus, as of July 1, 2024, 275 thousand Chinese cars owned by corporate clients were registered in Russia. This amounts to 11.7% of the entire parc of legal entities. At the same time, there are 249 thousand Korean cars registered to legal entities (the share is 10.6%). Meanwhile, six months ago (as of January 1) the situation was the opposite: the share of “Chinese” was 8.7%, and “Koreans” - 11.1%.

Above Chinese brands in this rating are German (13%), Japanese (14.8%) and Russian (32.6%). But given the current sales volumes of new passenger cars from China, by the end of 2024 they will overtake German and Japanese brands in corporate parcs.
