Chinese brand Chery presented the design of a new family crossover Tiggo 9, the press service of the company reports. In the Russian market, the model should appear by the end of 2024, taking the place of the flagship in the model lineup of the brand.

The exterior of Chery Tiggo 9 and subsequent restyling of Tiggo family cars will be based on "One Step Ahead" design philosophy.

The car body is characterized by smooth and aerodynamic contours. The design of the front part of the crossover is inspired by the animal world, resembling the brow arches and sharp teeth of the tiger.

The massive grille is made using 3D effect. It is based on a diamond-shaped element that resembles the look of a predatory beast in the dark and the reflection of the facets of a black diamond. The brand's emblem is arranged in accordance with the principles of the golden ratio.

The bionic contour, which resembles a "tiger's mouth", visually increases the front part of the car. The decor around the fog lights includes a repeating pattern of tiger stripes and is called "Tiger Stripe Loop".

Chery Tiggo 9 is expected to be equipped with ADAS package of active and passive safety systems, infotainment systems and electronic control systems. High-quality materials will be used in the interior trim.

As previously reported by AUTOSTAT agency, Chery Tiggo 8 PRO Max became the best-selling 7-seater crossover in Russia, i.e. the most popular among family cars.
