The leadership in this segment of the market this time belongs to the domestic brand KAMAZ, which at the beginning of autumn was 1653 vehicles. Chinese SITRAK, which sold 1,645 vehicles, was just a little behind. Three more Chinese brands - Shacman (1475 vehicles), Dongfeng (1285 vehicles) and FAW (860 vehicles) - were among the TOP-5 most popular brands in the market of new trucks in September.

SITRAK C7H truck (1644 vehicles) remains the leader among the models, its share in the first autumn month was 16% of the total sales volume. In the top five there were also three more Chinese and domestic models, namely: Dongfeng 4180 (1102 vehicles), Shacman SX3318 (450 vehicles), Shacman SX3258 (438 vehicles) and GAZ Gazon NEXT (418 vehicles).

If we consider the results of the first 9 months of 2024, then during this period the sales of new trucks in Russia totaled 93 153 vehicles. And this is 11.9% less than in January-September of last year.

TWO HONGQI NOVELTIES ARE AVAILABLE IN RUSSIA
The Chinese premium Hongqi brand has announced two novelties for the Russian market. In 2025, H6 liftback and the new generation HS7 crossover will appear in Russia, the brand's press service reports.

Hongqi H6 is a liftback introduced in 2023 in China. At the moment, one such car is being sold in the Russian Federation, imported under the parallel import scheme. Its cost in the dealership of Vladivostok is 3,580,000 rubles. The model is equipped with 2.0-liter 252-HP unit coupled with front-wheel drive.

The first generation Hongqi HS7 is now also available on the Russian market. This model is sold by authorized dealers of the Hongqi brand, but it is not represented in the brand's line-up on the website. HS7 is a mid-size premium crossover, similar to Audi Q7 in size. On October 8-11, 2024, within the framework of the Saint Petersburg International Gas Forum'2024, the Modern Transport Technologies Group of Companies will for the first time present an advanced development in the field of compressed natural gas technology to visitors – a medium-duty Valdai 12 CNG truck, as well as Sobol NN minibus in VIP design for meetings of high-ranking delegations and corporate transportation.

Valdai 12 4x2 CNG is a multi-purpose medium–duty truck for intra-urban and long-haul transportation. Valdai 12 CNG is equipped with a 4-cylinder YaMZ-535 spark-ignition gas engine displacement of 5.1 liters with a maximum capacity of 170 HP. The maximum torque of the engine is 660 Nm. Four gas cylinders made of metal composite materials with a total volume of 400 liters are located in a special holder behind the cabin. The range at one filling varies from 350 to 400 km.

Sobol NN VIP is a premium minibus that provides a high level of comfort and privacy for business negotiations on trips. The equipment includes separate armchairs with electric controls, an electrically driven folding table, a limousine partition with a sliding window and a built-in TV, a multimedia system with a touch screen, navigation and the ability to connect to a smartphone.

AVTOVAZ has started testing of LADA Aura car electric version. This was revealed by Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostech State Corporation, in an interview with TASS news agency. The top manager did not disclose details, but recalled that the company recently began production of LADA e-Largus electric car.

“It is obvious that internal combustion engines are slowly but inexorably becoming a thing of the past. They are being replaced by electric-powered transport, which is more efficient and less harmful to the environment”, Sergey Chemezov shared his opinion.

Recall that by the end of 2024 AVTOVAZ plans to produce about 3 thousand sedans LADA Aura with internal combustion engine. The Japanese are still the leaders in the electric fleet of Russian Federation, but they are followed by the Chinese, the share of which is 27.2%. German (7.4 thousand vehicles) and American (6.8 thousand vehicles) electric cars, which own 14.7% and 13.4% of fleet, respectively, are next in this indicator. Russian electric cars (4.4 thousand vehicles) with a share of 8.6% are also in the top 5. The share of all others is less than 3%.

Experts of AUTOSTAT agency note that among Japanese electric cars registered in Russia, Nissan brand stands out. The Chinese have Zeekr, the Germans - Volkswagen and Audi, the Americans - Tesla, and the domestic brands - Evolute and Moskvich.

The model has an all-wheel drive, two electric motors with a total capacity of 480 hp, intelligent air suspension IAS, as well as CDC (Continuous Damping Control) technology. The proposed modes of suspension operation allow to adjust the parameters in accordance with the driver's preferences and increase ground clearance up to 180 mm.

The interior of the premium Exlantix ES has been modified especially for Russia: the steering wheel is equipped with additional buttons for controlling the main functions, there is a different shape of seats and their trim. Thanks to a different shape of seats, the second row passengers have additional legroom.

The winter package, which includes heating of all seats, steering wheel, windscreen, rear view mirrors, washer nozzles, has been added to the equipment of the car. The battery received an improved heating system. Recall that in the equipment of coupe for the Russian market there are more than 30 modern intelligent driver assistants. From September 30th to October 6th, 2024, 56 051 new vehicles were sold in Russia. According to the experts of AUTOSTAT agency, this is a record since 2022, i.e. for the last approximately three years. Recall that the previous record was set in the last week of September (from 23 to 29), when 47015 new vehicles were sold.

Thus, in one week the sales of vehicles in our country grew by 19.2%. And it affected all segments of the market. Thus, sales of passenger cars increased by 18.6% to 49438 vehicles; light commercial vehicles (LCV) - by 27.8% to 3003 vehicles; trucks - by 19.4% to 3289 vehicles; buses - by 43.3% to 321 vehicles.
