Plenty of evidence out there, this has already been debunked multiple times to the point that even the Russians don't use this talking point anymore, go look it up yourself.

Russia's goal wasn't just a part of Ukraine, it was the complete take over of Ukraine; they've just realized that Ukraine won't go down without a fight, and had to significantly downgrade.

If Ukraine surrenders it's captured territory, it knows that Russia will just rebuild its army and try again later (Russia has a history of this).

Russia also won't have a choice in the matter, it's already been severely depleted to the point that it is no longer considered a military threat to its main adversary, the USA. They will give up.

Also, keep in mind, Ukraine also controls a chunk of Russian territory as well.

Russia had never been a conventional military threat to the West, they can't even build new carriers anymore, they also can't build large destroyers like China fast enough. They are however still a nuclear threat to the West which is why not a single NATO boot is in Ukraine. China is the most important reason why Russia is still able to resist. China is pretty self sufficient industrially except for raw materials. We complement each other very very well. The biggest beneficiary in this war is CHINA. The West couldn't concentrate on China and we have the access to the world's greatest resource base, RUSSIA. Our main concern is now EUV industrial chain, and we are nearly there, maybe in 5 years will be fully independent. Our currency is also competitive for trade but not financing. If the West can get distracted for another 5 years.....we will see a truly astonishing China.

Europe is loser. cheap russian gas gone. instead, a russian hooligan with nukes next door.

Africa, Asia, Latin as second biggest losers.

the US is the winner.

I think Ukraine is the biggest loser not Russia but yes they are the second biggest loser. It is stupid for the same ethnic group to fight.

Ukraine is certainly the ultimate loser. it will take 50y at least to rebuild.

of course it’s stupid. every country has multiple ethnics or same people. if every ethnic or people think they are the greatest or have longest xxx then they kill each other until nobody is left.
