Russia-Ukraine War - News, Discussions & Updates

It's pointless in strategic term to take control of all those province and stop the war, effectively you are giving 60% of Ukraine to NATO. Because once the war stop, they will join NATO, whether or not they relinquish claim of those province.
you believe:

(1) Ukraine will join NATO, no matter what
(2) Once Ukraine joins NATO, the war will end because Russia will not go to war with NATO

correct?

1.) Ukraine will most definitely join NATO, a point that both US (Austin) and NATO (Stoltenberg) expressed that, they are going to be NATO down the road, no matter what.

Again, the Ukrainian uses everything NATO, it way passed that point NATO can shield Ukraine from their secret, it can still be on the fence when NATO just send AT launcher or Ambulance or Hummer to Ukraine, once we are giving them ATACAM and F-16 and other NATO equipment, that's a point of no return, because you need NATO system (Link16, E-3 and so on) to be able to use that, I mean, do you actually believe it was all Ukrainian intelligence that lead to all those ATACAM, HIMARS hit? It's just all the disgruntled Russian send in picture and coordinate on their target? This is NATO intelligence, and they will have to have NATO protocol in place to know that, again, unless we plan to change the entire NATO system. Letting Ukraine goes back to Russia or China (even worse) is not an option, you may as well just disband the entire Organisation, it's like letting Japan or Australia into China or Russian sphere of influence........

2.) Let me ask you a question, why do you think Russia don't react to Ukraine Kursk incursion? A proper military will and can do both, a war with Ukraine have most of the Russian military focus on Donbas, that's why they can't deal with Kursk at the moment.

And you are talking about a possible 4 fronts war (Finland, Turkey, Baltics and Alaska), with Ukraine still on the table......If Russia attack NATO, they will get snuffed by the NATO with conventional mean, and the only thing left for the Russian to do is to launch Nuke, but then they are already under attack at the moment (Ukraine IS in Kursk) if they wanted to end it all, they would have use them already.

That's the sort of fallacies that got them kicked out of Vietnam , Iraq and Afghanistan.
And that sort of incapability is the reason this war is still going on 2 and a half years later....

If this is NATO, Ukraine would have been occupied 2 years ago and then being kicked out in 20 years time (10 if you use Vietnam as a reference)
