This is a test to see if Russia truly wants peace, or plans to negotiate in bad faith.

I would be shcoked if Russia takes this ceasefire deal. There is no logigical reason for them to stop. They are winning this conflict why stop for 1 month.

Because security guarantees and military aid for Ukraine are necessary for any peace settlement.

This is what I’ve said here for months. Russia has lost Ukraine. Ukraine will now be aligned with the West and conduct economic and security deals with the West. This is strategic defeat for Russia.
