Perhaps. But socialism is rampant in Russia where practically all the big businesses are owned by the state so it is understandable productivity is low in Russia but people don't have stress at work unlike in Western countries. In South Korea and Japan for example you have to work 10 hours a day to stay competitive. In Russia you only have to work 5 hours a day and you have a lot of free time for yourself and your family.

Japan has the longest life expectancy on earth while Russia has the lowest. Something does not add up.

"genstab" is: Why the hell didn't they organise a layered defence line west of Avdievka between Stepove and Pervomaiske just in case? Did they? Doesn't seem to be one there if conscripts are starting now to dig out trenches. They had almost 10 years to prepare this!!!

The pressing question for Ukraine
"genstab" is: Why the hell didn't they organise a layered defence line west of Avdievka between Stepove and Pervomaiske just in case? Did they? Doesn't seem to be one there if conscripts are starting now to dig out trenches. They had almost 10 years to prepare this!!!

Theres a line of defense at Semenivka, but main line runs from Ocheretyne to Karlivka with several lakes sitting in front of those lines. If Ukraine gets the shells they need, it will be very difficult for Russia to cross that.
